With Halloween just around the corner, we’ve made something a little spooky and very chocolatey 💀🤍

Our Halloween rocky road is here, topped with these cute little skulls. We think they’re more sweet than scary ☺️

Pop in for a slice before they disappear! ❤️

Made today in our Cosy Moose kitchen 🤍 Medovik honey cake, with delicate honey layers, a creamy filling and a golden crumb topping.

A little patience goes into all those layers, but a slice with a lovely cup of coffee makes it worth it ☺️

Two new macaron flavours today: spiced pear and tiramisu 🤍

One for cosy autumn days, and one for coffee lovers (like me ☕️). I can’t wait to hear what you think of them!

Vanilla macarons seem to be in demand lately, so today I made twice as many as I normally would 😊

I’m so happy with how the vanilla ganache turned out — velvety, yet fluffy at the same time, with plenty of real vanilla. I hope you’ll love them 🤍

Just out of the oven… chocolate brownie cookies 🤎

Crackly on the outside, soft and fudgy in the middle — somewhere between a brownie and a cookie, and very chocolatey 🍫

Available at Cosy Moose while they last ☺️

We hardly ever show the imperfect side of what we do, especially on social media, where everything seems to look perfect. Well, let me tell you — it’s perfect until it isn’t 😅

These were my macarons today. I test shells from every single tray that leaves my oven, and today it took a few attempts, some adjustments to the time and temperature, and plenty of patience before they were just how I wanted them.

That’s the truth behind baking — and probably most things in life. It doesn’t always go perfectly. Sometimes it simply takes a few more tries and not giving up ❤️

The answer is always coffee ☕️🤎

We’ve had quite a few new followers lately—thank you so much for following us; it really means a lot! ❤️ So I thought I’d tell you a little about us, for those who don’t know us too well—or at all ☺️

Cosy_Moose is a very small, independent, family-run coffee shop in the heart of Dorking. We love coffee, latte art and cakes… we really love cakes 😊 We bake most of them ourselves, right here in our little kitchen.

We’re a team of four full-timers and two part-timers, and we love dogs—and all other animals too! So far, only dogs have visited us, though 😊

If you haven’t been in yet, pop in when you’re around—we’d love to see you ❤️
