It’s with a heavy heart that I’m sharing some sad news…

Mel’s Pit Stop Café will be closing its doors from 19/04/2026.

This hasn’t been an easy decision, but after much thought, I’ve realised I’ve stretched myself too thin trying to balance two businesses alongside family life. It’s time for me to take a step back and focus where I’m needed most.

I just want to say a huge thank you to every single person who has supported the café – your custom, kindness, and loyalty has meant more than you know 💛

If you’d like to visit us for one last sit-down breakfast, we’ll be open tomorrow and Sunday, which will be our final days of trading.

Please note: My sandwich shop will remain open and running as normal, so you can still grab your favourites there.

Thank you again for all your support – it truly means everything.

All our breakfasts, toasties, and cold sandwiches come with a choice of white or brown bread 🍞

We keep it simple and tasty using freshly sliced bread, so you can enjoy your favourites just the way you like them!

We also offer small and large white bread cakes, with our large ones topped with a light flour finish 🙌
