Join us this on the 3rd and the 10th of December for a very special day at The Zebra Riding Club] where we’ll be turning up the festive spirit with a day of food, drink and cheer! OPEN TO ALL.

Start the day with a wreath making workshop where you’ll use foliage from the Birch grounds to create a wreath with real curb appeal. Think eucalyptus, berries, dried, oranges & lemons, conifer green, pine cones. Then glide into the afternoon with a three course lunch with bubbles at The Zebra Riding Club] where you’ll feast on the best of what our farm and local produce has to offer.

We are thrilled to announce that our Head Chef has been nominated in the for the Best Young Chef category!

We asked Amber a few questions:

1. Where do you get your inspiration from?

I feel most inspired by our beautiful Grounds at . The Grounds team work hard to harvest all the fresh and seasonal produce we have so I can build the ever-changing menu around this. I then supplement what we use from our market garden with our suppliers.

2. What’s your favourite dish to cook?

It would have to be the pea dish that has unfortunately just come off the menu! Mainly for its seasonality and simplicity which really brings out the natural flavours of the dish. It’s also a great hit with guests! They can’t believe such a minimalistic dish can have so much flavour. The corn dish that has come on to replace it is a joy to make too!

3. How does it feel to be nominated for best young chef?

I feel honoured to be nominated alongside some other fantastic young chefs!
