Mick The Chips
After 37 years the time has come for us to say goodbye. As so many of you know Jean and I are retiring and we can now confirm that we have said goodbye to Mick The Chips and moved into our new home. As things moved more quickly than expected in the end, and with us being on holiday, we didn't get the chance to re-open or say our goodbyes in person, which makes this even harder. But we didnt want to leave without thanking each and every one of you .
To our amazing village community- thank you! Thank you for your loyalty, your kindness, your support, and most of all your friendship over the years. You've been so much more than customers to us, you've been part of our lives and our family.
We would also like to say a very special thank you to all the wonderful staff we've had over the years. You've been such an important part of our journey, and many of you have become lifelong friends.
From the bottom of our hearts, we are so grateful for all the memories we've shared - from busy friday nights to the chats over the counter, and everything in between.
We would also like to wish Grace and Helen every success as they take over the shop. How lucky they are to start their new journey in such a lovely community!!. We know it will remain a much loved part of the village. Jean and I will miss you all more than words can say, but we leave with full hearts and very happy memories.
