COOK/ KITCHEN PREP VACANCY
CAFÉ/ SHOP/BARISTA ASSISTANT VACANCY
Part-time position/s (6 -30hrs)
Exciting new vacancies are available at The Beehive Crail for a Cook/ Kitchen Prep Assistant and Café/Shop/ Barista Asst.
The roles require a friendly, capable, efficient and energetic individual who cares about the customer experience and enjoys assisting visitors in their journey with us. Particularly helpful would be experience gained in a food/ retail/ coffeeshop environment An aptitude for creating and maintaining aesthetically pleasing store displays in the retail role & enjoying preparing food & organising the small kitchen area in the COOK/KITCHEN PREP role. Developing the menu & solo food events or collaboration opportunities is possible. We would support training to develop skills as and when necessary in an evolving retail & cafe landscape.
The CAFÉ ASST. role is predominantly in the ancillary café and/or shop and overseeing its day-to-day operations which includes customer service, stock management, ice cream sales, receiving deliveries, maintaining the shop/ serving areas cleanliness and appearance etc and start of/ end of day routines. You'll also support online business as well as contribute to the behind-the-scenes work.
We will be flexible to your commitments & schedule where possible to make this work for both of us. Please do get in touch if you think you only require say a specific day or you require seasonal work, we can explore the options. There is scope to use and develop any wider skills you bring e.g. marketing, barista, art & books experience, product photography, social media, your own cooking dishes. Please outline those in your application.

This could lead to transformative cancer treatments! Absolutely incredible the amazing work from those at the DDU, so proud of their work!

Before heading off up north later this week for a break after a busy season (& becoming a grandma 🥰) there is much magic going on in The Beehive Crail windows! Delightful Christmas mice have appeared & are watching the world go by as the blue skies have reappeared! We have a wonderful stock of 3d & 2d reusable Advent Calendars & quality cards just now in preparations for Christmas!
Drop in for a coffee & tarte au pomme or a browse & you will be in good hands & well looked after by Louise, Libby, Ella & Maisie!

I have already set up my email ~ ‘Grandma Gone Fishing’ / alike sign & will be switched off from work until 15th November 🌸
