This has been in the works for a while, somehow we haven't done chicken wings at The Forest Brewery yet!!!

Well that's about to change this week, we've got some banging fried chicken burgers on the menu alongside some serious wings and Canadian poutine!

We don't mess around with our wings and we've been working on some of these flavours for a while, which you having:..?

1. Guava glaze, crushed crispy corn, lime crema, chilli flakes
2. Korean BBQ, miso mayo, sesame, spring onion
3. Maple butter, lemon pepper mayo, crispy onion
4. Buffalo, Alabama white sauce, pickled celery

And then poutine on the side 😋 Made with proper squeaky cheese curds, it just shouldn't be called poutine if it isn't cheese curds!

Time for a new menu, this time we're going to be running some Portugese Steak Pregos! If you've never tried one, they're an elite level steak sandwich 😋

Grilled local bavette steak, marinated in loads of garlic, then sliced up on to a toasted roll with roast garlic mayo, rocket and a choice of sauces 😎 Veggies we've got a great spiced, grilled tofu with all the same accompaniments!

For sides, we've got a piri piri chicken loaded fries (step aside Nandos!), a super fresh tomato salad and some classic salty padron peppers!

You know the drill by now, 2 weeks only and then they're gone!

How is it the end of August?! We had to get a Greek fortnight in before it ended!

Gyros are back, they need no intro; if you've been down before then you know what to expect, if you haven't then come down for a fluffy Greek pita stuffed with grilled meats, halloumi, salads, oregano fries and great sauces 😋

As ever we've got GF and veggie vegan options sorted, just let us know of any allergies or intolerances when you order 😎

It's burger time! As ever, we're starting with amazing beef from our friends at The Meat Hut... We've brought back the Belly Smash (too many people came back multiple days in a row for it!), but we're adding in to the mix a super rich truffle and fig jam burger and a classic American-style!

You know the deal, these will be on for 2 weeks only at The Forest Brewery then they're gone!

We'll have a veggie, vegan and gluten free versions of pretty much everything available!

I’m a bit obsessed with tacos at the moment and have been working on some new recipes - new tortillas, new fillings, new salsas, the full works! As ever, we’re making pretty much everything from scratch, apparently we don’t shout about that enough so I’ll be putting out some BTS stories soon as well… 😎

We’re running this menu for 3 weeks we’ll change things up a bit each week to keep it fresh and interesting 🙌

It’s going to be 3 tacos per portion and you can mix and match across the whole menu... We’ve got a great veggie alternative on the fried chicken with some battered cauliflower! Our tacos are also 100% corn so we’ve got a good chunk of GF options

Unfortunately it’s just too hot in our little metal box to be frying chicken today 🥵

As much as we’d love to power through and get everyone fed, we have to look after our staff’s wellbeing first and foremost.

So we won’t be opening up at The Forest Brewery today (Thursday 25th June)…

Buttttt we’ll be back and ready to roll tomorrow, and extended opening on Saturday 1pm-8pm 🙌

We ran this menu for a week a while ago and it went down a storm, so thought it was about time to give it a proper run out! Korean fried chicken 🍗

We’ve got a choice of sauces for you: Korean BBQ, Honey Srircaha or Spicy Gochujang 🔥 Will all come on seasoned fries with a side of kimchi 😋

And we’re couldn’t resist getting some gyozas back on the menu, they seem to be a firm favourite!

Time to smash together two of my favourites, and see what the unholy but ridiculously tasty outcome is! I grew up in Birmingham so have eaten and cooked some serious Indian food, and have gone through my fair share of burritos along the way! So here comes the Indian burrito… 🇮🇳 x 🇲🇽

All the best bits of Indian cuisine wrapped up in a handy tortilla, with some lush side dishes… Bombay potatoes in a cheese toastie, and who’s tried pani puri?! They’re single bite flavour bombs filled with chickpeas, tamarind, herbs etc 🧐

JERK CHICKEN 🍗 This one went down a storm last year and we’ve been praying for some good weather to bring it back! Proper jerk chicken, smoked in a jerk pan, with some banging sides 🥰
