We are absolutely thrilled to be able to announce our Christmas Day menu to you all.

If you haven’t already made plans, then look no further…. We have created the most incredible, decadent, perfect menu that will bring a taste of luxury to your Christmas Day.

And…… this year, we’re doing more. We have two sittings for you to choose from, so now you have even more opportunity to join us on the most special day of the year.

Here it is….. Our long awaited & eagerly anticipated Christmas Fayre Menu.

We have spent a long long time creating what we believe to be the perfect selection of dishes for you all to enjoy throughout the Festive season.

Whether it be sharing an evening with family & friends, or enjoying a rare night out with workmates & colleagues, we have something for everybody.

Each dish has been thoughtfully created using only the freshest seasonal produce, to bring a sense of luxury & decadence to your Christmas get together.

Here at The Black Horse, we are always looking to keep our menu’s fresh and exciting, so we’ve made a few changes to our current menu. we’re really excited to announce some new additions from this week!

Small Plates

- Cornish baby salt & pepper squid
- Korean crispy chilli beef

Mains

- Pan roasted Brill
- Hassleback butternut squash
- Sharing platter for 2, containing a fantastic selection from our small plates choices

All this along with our existing homemade firm favourites, we’ve got you covered.

Our Driftwood Restaurant is open:
Wednesday - Saturday 17:30 - 21:00
Sunday 12:00-16:00

This food really has to be experienced to be believed…. So come along and see for yourselves.

Not your ordinary roast !!!

Now, we know that Sunday lunch is pretty much an institution & that we all pride ourselves on cooking “ a cracking roast”, but………..

This truly has to be seen to be believed !!

The team here have spent countless hours perfecting the most incredible Sunday sharing platter, alongside our fantastic range of roast dinners. There genuinely is nothing that comes close to the quality & variety that we have for you beautiful people.

Tables can be booked between 12 & 4pm & we currently have limited availability for tomorrow, so don’t hang back, grab your table & join us for a lunchtime treat to beat all treats.

Yes….. it’s back !!

The ever present DJ Pete Robinson will be in the house from 4 - 9pm, playing as always, the best music around.

And if that wasn’t enough to tempt you to come and join us, chef has come up with some incredible BBQ delights for you all too…. You’re all getting to know our new food vibe & this one promises to be just as good & just as tasty.

This is no ordinary Sunday lunch !!!

So, we promised you change, we promised you exciting and we promised you special…. We have delivered !!!

Our incredible Sunday lunch sharing board for two people is the absolute promise of indulgence. With a selection of three perfectly cooked meats, ox cheek stuffed Yorkshire Puddings, triple cheese cauliflower gratin alongside the most sumptuous, crispy roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and more, this genuinely is a superstar Sunday lunch.

Now…. At £28 per person, we know it’s not cheap, but believe me when I say that it’s worth every penny and more. We’re proud to state that nobody else is providing such a lavish and extravagant Sunday roast locally.

Don’t take my word for it, please come along and treat yourselves. We promise you will enjoy the finest Sunday lunch in the finest surroundings, brought to you by the finest pub in the village ( ok, I am slightly biased on that bit )
