Meet the Team - Say Hello to Dirgha!
If you've visited Ginger & Spices recently, chances are you've been welcomed by our fantastic manager, Dirgha! 😊
Joined the team: March 2022 working in the Kitchen, before working his way up to Manager in April 2023. Proof that hard work really does pay off!
Favourite main: Lasuni Ghosht - A flavorful Indian dish made with tender pieces of meat, typically lamb or goat, cooked in a rich gravy infused with garlic (lasun). The dish is known for its aromatic spices and is often served with naan or rice.
Favourite starter: Garlic Chilli Prawns
Favourite drink: Cobra... but only when he's not working!
Favourite music night? It has to be Blondie, with Vintage Retro coming a very close second.
What music do you like? Country
When he's not at work... You'll probably find him catching up on some well-earned sleep or enjoying a drive. He got his driving licence in October 2025 after "a few" attempts at the theory test... but passed his practical first time!
What does he love most about Ginger & Spices? Meeting new people and making sure every guest has a wonderful experience.
Hobbies: Cricket.
Originally from: Nepal.
Long-term dream: To one day open his own restaurant. We think he'll be a natural!
Happiest day? "Easy... getting married! ❤️
What's Krishna like to work for? "He looks after me like a brother."
