I definitely haven’t been able to keep up posting on this page for a while now. And because of that I miss out on so many stories of people I like to follow!

So I’m going to transition everything over to my other page .

I’m slowly re-following everyone over there, go check it out!

It’s oh so quiet.

First day back at school and nursery over here and it coincided with a non-working day for me. So I have spent the past hour sat on the sofa watching TV without being interrupted!

Part of me wants to get up and do all the things I didn’t get a chance to do with the kids around but part of me also wants to just sit down for a long time!

Are you being super productive or enjoying the quiet?

My friends are better than your friends.

I have some unbelievably talented people in my life, from singers to interior designers, curators of future leaders to crafty geniuses. And one that has only come into my life in the last few years just shows time and time again how amazing she is.

If you are ever looking for someone to capture family moments, newborn toes or the best side of your side, please please go check out . She is a genius with a camera.

Look at these pictures of my little girl! Something to treasure forever.

Chilling at the library.

I took the girls to the library after school this week, we are lucky to have one large and several smaller ones near us. Not only did they pick some books, they played together nicely and there was a poppy colouring station.

We spent 2 hours there and I didn’t spend a penny! Perfect for a cold, dark and dreary night when you are saving to Christmas.

I just need to remember to take the books back!

Do you use your local library?

Keep doing you.

Rather than being out raving my youth away, I spent the last Friday of my 30’s at a Sound Bath. Whilst I am someone who spends massages thinking about what I need to do at home or the shopping list, I tried my hardest to switch off my brain. And succeeded for much longer than I usually do. Definitely something I would do again!

Top tips? Take a pillow, blankets, and whatever you need to be comfortable laying on the floor for an hour!

My friends and I have been known to beat the clock on an escape room or two over the years but sometimes there aren’t any new ones to do and with work and kids it’s just not practical. This puzzle mat is perfect to fill the gap from home!

With puzzles, clues and brain teasers it can be done in one sitting or a bit at a time.

We completed our first section last night while having a good old natter, and are looking forward to when we take on the next sections and complete the map!

This would be great for those tweens who you don’t want in front of screens all day - I’m definitely gifting one to my niece and nephew to see how they get on!

Does it look like something you would enjoy? I highly recommend!
