Today’s the day! 🥰 The Snug has partnered with Cheadle Arts Festival, Staffordshire to bring you a Winnie the Pooh trail to celebrate 100 years of the bear we all love and adore 🥰

Head to The Snug or Gelato & Cakes to collect your map, and find Winnie the Pooh in the participating shops. Collect your sticker when you find him and build the jigsaw as you go 🐝🍯💛

Our current space has 24 seats, wide range of hot and cold drinks, a fantastic food offering, and you can see your little ones from wherever you sit!

We’re ideal for short visits, meet-ups, and for little ones who can get overwhelmed in large centres

We don’t have an age limit, we just ask that the older children be mindful of the babies when using our space 🥰

We’re not a large soft play centre with big slides and multi-level frames. You can relax and watch your children easily in our cafe, whilst being able to interact with them and encourage them

What are the benefits of a Stay and Play Cafe?

For children:
- Build confidence in a safe environment
- Encourages creativity and imaginative play
- Supports social, emotional and communication development
- Offers gentle opportunities to make friends and practise sharing

For parents and caregivers:

First Thursday off in 5 weeks, after completing a Women in Business course with Staffordshire County Council. And what did I do with my first Thursday back off with my girls - obviously “Amy’s cafe” The Snug Stay and Play Cafe - our Thursday home. And I got to try a new drink which I will be backing on their menu - an Oat Matcha with strawberry syrup! Yummmm!

We’re still open as usual! 🤎

We’ve had a few messages since sharing that our unit is now available to rent, so we just wanted to reassure everyone…
The Snug isn’t going anywhere just yet!

While we’re incredibly excited about moving into our new, larger home, we’ll be staying right here until a new tenant is found and everything is ready for us to make the move

That means all of your usual play sessions, events, parties, coffee dates and cosy catch-ups will continue exactly as normal 🥰

We’re taking this next chapter one step at a time, making sure the transition is smooth for our families and little ones.
As we’ve said before, we’re not looking to become a huge, overwhelming play centre. Our new space simply gives us a little more room to grow while keeping everything you love about The Snug: the calm atmosphere, thoughtful play experiences, and sense of community

So please keep visiting, booking on events, booking parties and making memories with us. For now, it’s very much business as usual

A little update from us 🤎

As many of you know, we've recently shared our exciting plans to move into a larger home for The Snug

One thing that has been really important to us throughout this process is making sure that, even with more space, we don't lose what makes The Snug special. We're not creating a huge, overwhelming play centre. We're creating a bigger version of the same calm, cosy, connection-focused space that you've come to love

With that in mind, our current unit is now officially on the market to rent as we prepare for our next chapter

It's a bittersweet moment. These four walls have seen first steps, birthday celebrations, first friendships, countless coffees, and so many wonderful memories. We're incredibly grateful for everything this little unit has given us.
At the same time, we're so excited for what's ahead. A little more room to grow, a little more space for play, and even more opportunities to bring you the thoughtful, low-stimulus experiences that sit at the heart of The Snug

Don’t worry though, we aren’t moving just yet- we will only move once we have a new tenant for our current unit and our new unit is ready 🥰 it’s also important to stress that we are staying on Cheadle High Street, so you won’t be losing us! 🤎
