ANNOUNCEMENT:
Anatoni’s x Ffwrnes garlic bread collaboration

Coming next week, the garlic bread Cardiff knows as love from 591 by Anatoni’s is being given a new home with our good friends at Ffwrnes in the Cardiff Indoor Market.

Ffwrnes are a Neapolitan pizza institution and we cannot be happier to be passing the garlic bread torch onto them. Tony recently paid them a visit, showing the team the process and the tester came out absolutely delicious.

You can find the garlic bread on the specials at Ffwrnes soon and 50p for every purchase will go to the Velindre Cancer Centre.

Hard to believe it’s already been a week since our final night! We’ve all been having a well deserved rest since the last push and are so grateful to everyone who paid us a visit and/or sent messages in our final weeks.

We’d like to share some portraits of our amazing staff taken by Ed during our last weeks, including the final night of service. While we’re no longer working side by side with these incredible individuals, they are part of our Anatoni’s family and we wish them all the very best in their next chapters.

Ok, so we’re not Cheers, but we’re 591 and with our pizza oven firing at full pelt it’s well warm and cosy inside serving out some of the best pizzas Cardiff has to offer.

To say it’s been a crazy first year for 591 would be an understatement. With 9 days left to go before we turn the page on 2024, we reflect on the year and think of the good friends we’ve made, the good family we have and, of course, the good food we’re lucky to serve our wonderful customers.

Our final evening for 2024 will be Sunday 22nd December so please come join us over the next 9 days for one last pizza party to see the year out.

Our newest creation by Anna: The Pumpkin Warmer 🎃

This autumn special features a pumpkin sauce base, tender stem broccoli, nduja, pumpkin seeds, sun blushed tomatoes and is finished off with chilli honey.

Last week 591 were delighted to host a team from S4C looking to capture some pizza making footage. This spliced together with snippets of the rugby, finished off with a touch of the Triumphal March from Aida made for a stunning 46 second segment.
