This £2,000 Sur-Ron has been causing a nuisance for residents in Willingham and Longstanton for a number of weeks.

After failing to stop the rider was caught and the bike has been seized.

He has been reported for no licence and no insurance and the bike will crushed.

🚓 Last night neighbourhood officers issued two Section 59 warnings in Longstanton and Northstowe to motorists involved in ongoing anti-social driving within the villages.

Officers also carried out an arrest attempt in Over, progressed ongoing crime enquiries, carried out community engagement, and attended a safeguarding meeting with a local school.

High‑visibility patrols were carried out across Over, Willingham, Longstanton, Northstowe, Cottenham, Histon, Impington, Oakington, Girton, Great Shelford and Sawston, responding to reports of youth anti-social behaviour and criminal damage, mainly in local play park areas.

Thank you to residents for continuing to report concerns – your information helps us target patrols where they are needed most. Continue to report information to us here: https://orlo.uk/WkOIk

Book a free tennis taster session now! Children aged 5-16 can try out a tennis lesson for free at the Fen Edge Festival on the 20th of June. You do need to pre-book, see details in the link.

Adults and children can also just turn up for a hit any time, Saturday 1-4pm, and we'd love to see any rusty racketeers on court too. Remember we have fantastic offers on membership and coaching on the day so come on down.

Come and have a go - just knock up, try target practice and the ball machine or test your serve speed, whether you are new to the game, a bit rusty or a pro!  No need to book.  Equipment provided.
