Staff wanted

looking for up to 3 new staff members to work the front desk/reception, will be 1 day a week (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) for the moment till trained up, then 2 days a week (and any covers for other staff members that may be off) once the old staff members have finished thier time with us to get ready for university.

Main duties include:
Taking orders
Preparing Deliveries
Serving Tables.
Other miscellaneous tasks attached to front of house.

this is minimum wage, part time position.
I'm looking for Candidates over the age of 18, as i'm hoping for them to stay on long term.

We will be closed from the 3rd of march and reopening on the 14th.

This is due to some work to the roof we need done as it has started leaking.

So this will be the last post I make on this matter, if we have a food inspector visit then I welcome it, I have nothing to hide.

I would like to thank our customers for thier support in the matter and hope to service you again soon.

Yes I was a bit rude, I work the kitchen and it's a stressful environment, especially for Chinese/Asian backgrounds, if you haven't heard shouting from a Chinese takeaway then maybe they aren't really Chinese( joking), but I'm not customer service, if you want us to kiss your feet like the floor is blessed beneath you then your not going to get it here, respect goes both ways.

As for the staff member who spoke before me he is possibly one of the most polite staff members I've ever hired and he will be missed when he goes to uni later in the year, as such I will also post CCTV of his interaction with the customer to prove he also never threatened anyone.

I don't care if you slate my food and post bad reviews, everyone has their own opinions, but saying you was threatened and posting bald face lies is just unacceptable.

If this incident is escalated anymore I will be lawyering up, as such comments will be turned of for this post.

Also please use Google and look up "pink cooked chicken" it's a very common thing.

I could have been more diplomatic but I'm fed up of people trying trick small business and think they can get away with it.

The chicken isn't raw, it is pre cooked chicken that we buy in bulk as per food standards guide lines, yes it may be pink, but it's never raw.

Anyway I will post the following 2 CCTV videos( one in the comments) and you can see for yourself if I was threatening both parties either way.

Feel free to share the truth. All I can say is if this is the way people treat small family businesses then I'm not sure how much longer said businesses will be around.

I'm not sure how much of the video people are watching, but I want to clear something up, the customer was offered by me to send a driver to pick up the chicken balls and if found to be raw they would be given another meal( it's even in the CCTV), but if it wasn't raw they got nothing.
It was at this point she said " I don't see how that's fair" and which I replied because they are bullsh*ting me, I even go on to explain the reasons that it would be pink, but they were adamant it was raw(at this point I'm super annoyed, I want to get back into the kitchen and get food out)

The call ended when they said they would bring me the chicken balls, which never happened.

If they truly believed it was raw chicken then it would have been a easy deal.

I would have also been happy to refund them too if they wanted that instead of food IF the chicken was raw.

Having raw food going out is no small matter, but I'm also not going to just believe you if you tell me.

Update: so we will be trying to run our till system off a laptop untill we get the POS back from being repaired/replaced.

As such we will be opening tomorrow( Monday) as a tester to see how it goes. If all goes well then we will be back to normal opening hours.

Hope you all had a good new years.

Unfortunately we've just had a horrible start to the new year as our POS has died( happy new year 😭🎉), which means we won't be able to take any orders, do deliveries or even access and print online orders. As such we will be closed untill further notice, hopefully it won't be too long.

I will keep you updated here.

As with Christmas eve we are expecting to be busier then normal.

Apologies in advance for any delays, but we will try and get you your food Asap, but please expect that you may be waiting upwards of 2 hrs at times.

If we are too back logged we may even pause taking orders.

Apologies in advance for any delays and inconveniences tonight. We have already started receiving pre-orders for collections and deliveries. Any times given for tonight are estimates only advised at the time the order is taken.
We will do our best tonight to make sure everyone gets their order and thank you in advance for your patience with us.

We have started handing out calenders today, limited supply so get them while we have stock!

Our Xmas dates are:

24th: 4.30pm - 9.00pm
25th: closed
26th: closed
27th onwards open normal times, including new years eve and new years day.

Unfortunately due to flight delays, we will be short on staff and unable to open on the 26th as planned and will now be open on the 1st of october.

We sincerely apologise for this inconvenience and hope you're still willing to give us your custom when we open.
