Rock & Roll Bingo is back at The Brickies, kicking off from 8pm!

Starting from 8pm, come along, grab your dabber and help us raise some money for this month’s chosen charity, Movember. We’ll also be selling raffle tickets throughout the night, with the big draw taking place at our Shanty Buoys night on 17th October.

Well, last night was a proper PARTY… Brickies style!

After the amazing performance at the church, we carried the celebrations on back at the pub — and on a FRIDAY too! We clearly need to have a word with ourselves.

We’re back open today and ready to do it all again!

On Friday 9th October we'll be serving Morrissey Blonde at German duty prices to highlight how much tax we pay on a pub pint here.
Did you know the UK has one of the highest rates of tax on pub pints in Europe - TEN times as high as in Germany?
It's part of the campaign asking the Chancellor to cut tax specifically on b**r sold in pubs via Draught Relief ahead of the Budget on 28th October.

Our Sunday Sessions are having a tiny autumn breather, but we’ll be back in action on Sunday 18th October with Adam Tarleton joining us from 6:30pm.

And then? Music every Sunday.

The nights are getting darker, the fires are getting cozier, and Sunday Sessions are officially entering their cosy era.

Bruce has been rummaging around the dark side this week and he’s come back with Victorian Porter from 8 Sail Brewery.

A proper 5% dark porter, packed with rich roasted malt and coffee flavours. Dark, smooth and dangerously easy to drink.

Bruce’s verdict?

“I like it because it’s got plenty of flavour without being too heavy. Bit like me really — dark, handsome and full of character.”

Well… we’ll let you decide about the handsome bit.
