A difficult update about The Dry Spy Bromsgrove:
With heavy hearts, we wish to announce that The Dry Spy will call last orders and close its doors for a “pause for thought” on 14th September 2026.
This is not a decision we made lightly but rising costs have made the decision inevitable.
We have tried everything to make the Dry Spy a success over the past five years and want to thank Emily and her team for all the hours of sheer hard work which made all our events and celebrations a huge success. The pride and dedication shown by this group of people is second to none and we shall be forever grateful.
To all our customers, we thank you for making our venue special - we’ve had a blast.
We will of course honour all bookings up to our closing date and have contacted those who have bookings in October and beyond to arrange a refund of any deposit.
Between now and when we close our doors in September, we hope you will come and enjoy the Dry Spy experience and share your memories on our social media pages for us all to look back on.
Thank you for your understanding and for supporting a small independent venue which has survived for over five years in a severely challenging financial and regulatory environment.
It’s so important to support your local independent hospitality businesses and high street traders.
