Why do we accept last-minute cake orders? đđ
Itâs a question I get asked a lot!
The simple answer is because I know that life happens. People forget, plans change, and sometimes celebrations come together at the very last minute. If I can help make someoneâs day special, Iâll always do my best.
As a small business owner, loyalty means everything to me. I believe in looking after my customers and helping them out when theyâre in a time of needâbecause I hope theyâd do the same by supporting my business.
The reality of running a small business is that work isnât always guaranteed. There are quieter weeks, and unlike a traditional job, if I take a holiday, I donât get paid. Thereâs no annual leave, no sick pay, and no guaranteed income. So when orders come in and I have the capacity, I take them with gratitude.
That being said, last-minute orders are usually an exception, and I can only take them on if theyâre relatively straightforward and the customer is happy to trust my style and creativity.
If youâre looking for an exact replica of a cake youâve seen online or asking for âexactly like this picture,â Iâm afraid the answer will be noâespecially at short notice.
So next time youâre in need of a last-minute cake, please keep this in mind. The more flexible and easy-going you are, the more likely Iâll be able to help. đ
Thank you to everyone who continues to support my little business and trusts me to create something special. It truly means more than you know. đ€đ°
