This Friday @ 8.30pm we welcome Torsten Jensen! 🎹
Torsten is a pianist, keyboardist and composer based in Bristol. He covers a wide variety of different genres and styles, including jazz, classical, rock, electronic and dub. He has released several EPs and two albums with the bands Hexcut and Prudent Primate, as well as releasing a solo piano EP under his own name. He is also part of producer collective Paper Dragon, who have had tracks played on BBC Radio One. Career highlights include four nights playing at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, and performing at major UK festivals such as Boomtown and Glastonbury.

EXCEPTIONAL WINES INCOMING!

You may or may not know that we now have two heavyweight English sparkling wines on our menu!

We are proud to stock bottles of Rosé and Culver from in Dorset.

Lots has been said about how the changes in climate have affected winemaking and how (somewhat fortuitously) the south of England now provides a favourable climate and terroir for producing truly excellent sparkling wines.

Minimal intervention, steel and concrete tanks, oak barrels, malolactic fermentation, and careful blending create rich, bright flavours. These wines are a delight and truly give Champagne a run for its money!

Created in 1935 by American novelist Ernest Hemingway, this mixture of Absinthe, sugar, lemon & Prosecco combines to create something both strong and refreshing in equal measure! 🥂
