A few years ago the box hedge was doing well. Due to its density it got badly hit by blight. By last autumn it had too many dead patches to continue. The box lollipops remained and a new Ilex hedge planted and filled in with geranium Rosanne. It’s got some growing to do before it impresses but we are really pleased with our winter/spring project. Lady Farm Gardens open day Sunday 5th July 2-5pm. Raising funds for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) Please come along to support this amazing charity - they offer support following a young sudden cardiac death, they raise awareness to help prevent young sudden deaths, they want all young people to have the opportunity to have heart screening and they fund world leading research into the causes and prevention of Young Sudden Cardiac Death.

It was great to see Lady Farm Gardens on Gardeners World on Friday evening. Adam Frost was wonderful, so enthusiastic about the grasses. It’s given us a boost and we are looking forward to opening the gardens next year. But in the meantime we are enjoying a superb autumn.
