Crispy parmesan-and-thyme chicken breast, stacked high with baby gem, Caesar dressing, sourdough croutons, smoked streaky bacon AND crispy chicken skin on top (yes, it's as good as it sounds).

Hello July! 🌞

We can't believe we're already halfway through the year. Thank you to everyone who's popped in, tried the new menu, and generally kept us busy over the last few months - we appreciate every one of you. 💛

If you haven't tried our grab and go sandwiches yet, they're the perfect quick lunch fix. 🥪 And don't forget - we're proudly pooch friendly, so the four legged members of the family are always welcome too. 🐾

We've got plenty more exciting things planned for the second half of the year, so watch this space!

The new menu has been with us for almost a month now... and what a month it's been!

We've been so grateful for everyone who's come through the doors, tried something new, shared the love, and been so patient with our team during the heatwave ☀️

Now the weather's turned a little cooler, it's the perfect time to come and enjoy a relaxed lunch with us.

Thank you for all the lovely patient customers we've had in over the past few days. As you can imagine temperatures in the kitchen are hot, hot, hot and they don't look to be getting any cooler until the middle of next week.

With it being Farmers Market tomorrow, please bear with us as we are allowing our chefs 'hydration breaks' some act like prima donna footballers anyway... 🤣🤣 so this may have an impact on service time, we apologise if there is but we take the welfare of our staff seriously.

‼️ Please note due to the extreme heat we are currently experiencing our kitchen will only be open 10-2 tomorrow (Friday 26th June) ‼️

Whilst our chefs love preparing and creating our menu for yourselves we have to think about their health and well being, currently at 10.30am it is registering a whopping 43 degrees and that’s just in the kitchen itself.

Please as you have done all week bear with us as we have our own hydration breaks and cooling breaks on our reserved chair under our parasol outside.

Evening Brigg,

Hope you're enjoying a nice cold pint of beer on a lovely evening like this... what's that you have no pint glasses, well let us help you out!!

We have 48 brand new Birra Moretti glasses up for grabs, all we are asking is a small £2 per glass donation for them, these go for a lot more on amazon and ebay, who knew!!!

All proceeds will be split between the 3 crazies, and their chosen charities, that are running the Great North Run later on this year.
