Catering for over a decade at amazing festivals as Wilderness, Glastonbury and The Green Man. In 2015 after catering for the festival gods Michael Eavis 80th birthday where the TGB was born. Catering for vegans, vegetarians and meat eater with our ‘one pot cooking from around the world.’ Dishes are naturally healthy, low fat, nutritious meals. Our freshly prepared dishes are not just wheat, gluten

and dairy free, but also low in fat, salt and sugar naturally. Come and see our showmanship where our dishes are cooked in front of the festival goer, smells wafting through the air. See you in the field.

Our Story

The Green Bean Mobile is run by Giles Smith he is one of the original Festival/Street Food traders of the era. He now drives Bessy (when she is behaving), the Green Bean van around and for the past 10 years has been catering at food festivals, markets and festivals around the country as Aldeburgh food festival (Suffolk), South Bank Food Festival (London), Bewick Street Market, Covent Garden Market (London) Wilderness (Oxford), Glastonbury, The Green Man (Wales) and Secret Garden Party (RIP) to name but a few. In 2015 after catering for the festival gods Michael Eavis 80th birthday the Green Bean was born shifting more into vegetarian and vegan foods.

Giles now resides in Bridport, Dorset and is part of the food network down there and is involved in the Bridport Food Festival as a committee member, catering at the Bridport Food Festival and Bridport Beer Festival.
