As part of my ongoing Matcha obsession, I decided to taste test the offerings from Starbucks and Costa 😳
Neither of these outlets served me a drink that tasted like matcha, they were weak, pale, overloaded with syrup/sweetener and had zero taste of matcha 🤷‍♀️
Do me a favour if you’ve never tried Matcha, go to a proper independently owned outlet unless you like sugary milk 😂

Here we go:
1. My family is 2 boys, 1 girl, 2 dogs and a long suffering husband
2. My heart is on the wrong side and I have lung disease which means a permanent portacath for meds (great conversation starter)
3. I’m a qualified dog groomer and had my own salon - LOVED IT - but due to aforementioned lung disease it made me very poorly (dog hair & bad lungs don’t mix)
4. During the week I work for a local cider maker, multitasking to the max with occasional taste testing 🍺
5. I don’t actually like coffee…I will have an occasional caramel latte but coffee is not my bag. I am great at making it though 🤪

Patiently waiting for 2026 because I have LOTS to get on with 🤣
