When organising a farewell for a loved one, the details should be handled with care and discretion, and providing a service like that is really important to me.

I aim to take the burden off your shoulders when I provide catering for wakes, memorial services and celebrations of life. You might want an elaborate buffet, or a light spread, or even just foods that evoke memories of your loved one.

Lots of Somerset venues offer incredible spaces with great kitchens but don't provide the catering. I step into your venue’s kitchen to provide full-service catering, from welcoming grazing spreads and buffet lunches to warming, evening meals.

I handle all the menu prep (unless you want input!), shopping, cooking, dietary needs, and all kitchen clean-up so you can focus 100% on facilitating your guests and giving them the best experience possible, leaving them feeling relaxed and nourished.

In my personal life, I can't bear to hear people mention Christmas much before November but in my catering life, I LOVE IT!! It means you're thinking ahead and you're making plans, and that means you'll be less stressed and won't be disappointed that you've missed out by leaving things too late.

Add half an avocado, some grated cheese and 2 eggs and put it all in the air fryer for a few mins and bingo, lunchtime! 😅

I'll definitely be making my crumble with this flapjacky topping again! (FYI this was vegan and could easily be made gluten free without any negative impact on taste or texture!)

Who remembers 'Surprise, Surprise!'? I don't even think I loved the programme especially, but that song pops in my head a lot 😆 (Same as Bonnie Tyler's 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' does, any time I hear the words 'turn around'😂)

Anyway, I realised I post a lot about cakes, treats, sausage rolls etc but that's because that's what I sell at the monthly cafe and at afternoon teas obviously, but there's a lot more to my menu than that! And I actually enjoy trying to make foods a bit healthier if it doesn't affect the end result negatively.

So, if I can reduce the sugar, I will.
If I can add some protein, I will.
But never in spite of taste or quality.
This also means that if I have special dietary requirements to cater for, I'll do my best to make something from scratch because lots of the pre-packaged 'free from' food is ultra-processed!

If you also love proper food, and you want a caterer that is a bit more conscious (but who certainly isn't a nutritionist) then I'm your girl 😉
