You might be dealing with stress, anxiety, grief, loneliness, addiction, recovery, relationship problems or pressures at work.

Or you might simply want to get out of the house, meet a few good people and have a chat.

No judgement. No pressure. No labels.

What if supporting children’s mental health started with the everyday moments?

We’re hosting a free online webinar for parents and trusted adults, led by Stef, exploring The Child Behind the Behaviour.

Rather than only focusing on what happens when things go wrong, we’ll look at six everyday foundations that can help children build stronger emotional wellbeing - from feeling safe and understood, to asking for help, making sense of emotions and learning from difficult moments.

Stef will bring together professional knowledge, practical strategies and lived experience as a parent, with realistic ideas you can use at home.

This isn’t about getting parenting right all the time. It’s about looking beyond behaviour and helping children know they don’t have to navigate difficult moments alone.

Wednesday - Pizza & Pals at 7pm - Mens support group. If you’re looking for support, connection or just want to get out of the house - this group is for you.

Thursday 6:30pm - Rebuild Running. Our run club is for anyone that’s looking to work on their physical and mental health and rebuild and connect with others (poster will be out monday).

Today is World Mental Health Day.

At WHYSUP, our team comes from different backgrounds, with different experiences, but we all share the same belief. Nobody should feel they have to struggle alone.

We know that mental health affects us all, and that sometimes the smallest things can make the biggest difference.

Checking in on a friend. Listening without judgement. Having an honest conversation. Or simply letting someone know you're there.

We don't always get it right, and we don't always have the answers. But we can all do our bit to make talking about mental health easier.

Today, and every day, let's keep looking out for each other.

WELCOME TO WHYSUP, KRISH! 🙌

We’re delighted to officially welcome Krish to the Whysup team!

Krish has an incredible story to share. From chasing his dream of becoming a professional footballer at Bury FC until the age of 19, to recently completing his incredible Great British Skip challenge and setting a world record. 💪

Krish is also the founder of Tales to Inspire, an amazing organisation that uses the power of storytelling and lived experience to inspire others, overcome barriers and show people what is possible despite the challenges life can throw at us.

Krish is passionate about making a difference, particularly when it comes to supporting young people through education, prevention and positive role models.

One thing that really stands out about Krish is his belief in the power of kindness. Something that costs absolutely nothing but can make a huge difference to somebody else’s life.

Krish will be delivering some of our education programmes across schools and corporate organisations, as well as supporting us in developing and growing Whysup In The Community CIC, helping us reach and support more people within our local communities.

At Whysup, we believe everybody has a story. By sharing our experiences, both the highs and the lows, we can help educate, inspire and support others.

Krish brings plenty of energy, passion and enthusiasm to the team, and we’re really looking forward to seeing the impact he can make.

We recently welcomed Graeme Snowball, National Transport Training Manager at Whistl, into the studio for the latest Whysup Logistics podcast.

Graeme brings a huge amount of experience from working directly with drivers and transport teams, so we wanted to have a practical conversation about the realities of looking after people working on the road.

What works? What doesn’t? And what can the industry realistically do to better support driver health, wellbeing and safety?

A massive thank you to Graeme and Whistl for giving up their time and getting involved.

This conversation will form part of Journey, our new wellbeing platform built specifically for the logistics industry.

It’s been brilliant to see how many people from across the sector are excited about what we’re building and want to contribute their own knowledge and experience.

We’ve already got another podcast filming day booked, with more great guests joining us.

Journey is taking shape, and we can’t wait to start sharing it.

The second nomination recognises the work we’ve been doing with the JD Foundation across Greater Manchester. Last academic year, our Mental Health & Resilience Programme reached around 12,200 young people across 61 schools.

Two nominations that mean a lot to our whole team and everyone involved in making this work happen.
