A throw back to summer! We had a blast catering for Hayley’s 40th birthday in Plumley. The setting was beautiful and the weather was just perfect for her special day. We cooked up all the bbq favourites plus a special request for king prawns drench in garlic and herb butter! To finish we served salted caramel brownies, berry pavlovas, scones with clotted cream and jam.

Catching up on a few events we did this summer… for this cold buffet our client wanted there to be plenty of vegetarian options and a gluten free cake. Cooking up a birthday bbq feast for Oliver and his closest friends, guests enjoyed Salmon steaks, rib eye and rump steaks, all the kebabs, classic bbq staples and summery salads to go along side. They finished with a trio of cheesecake pots, chocolate fudge cake and cookies. We catered for several dietary requests and food allergies, keeping everyone happy and safe!

The brief- a high end barbecue for our black tie event with big band & cocktails.

We grilled rump steaks, garlic and herb chicken breast, tuna steaks and chimichurri portobello mushrooms. Served with seasonal salads and buttery new potatoes.

Next up- desserts canapé style with all the clients favourites- New York cheesecake, brownie, mini pavlova, lemon posset, Bakewell tart and fruit tartlets.

To Finish we created an artisan cheese table that celebrated British cheeses.

This was a truly magical evening and we were thrilled to be a part of it! The feedback was incredible and the client and I may have even shed a few happy tears together at the end of a busy day/evening. Thank you W&D🙏

We had such an epic time last week- 4 events and 360 guest in total. This took a huge amount of planning, preparation, logistics and a few sleepless nights but I’m so happy with how it turned out and even happier with the clients feedback. It certainly expanded the what we thought were our limits…. The roots grew!!! Thank you to everyone who has supported our small business so far, we’re really loving what we do ❤️ A few photos from Friday evenings event… such a gorgeous setting for a summer party 🎉
