It is with a heavy heart that we have to sadly announce the permanent closure of Load Streat Food Bar. This is due to increases in operational costs . Including massive increases in food prices and ongoing and uprising costs of commercial gas tarrifs which we feel we can't pass on to our customers. The government have made it impossible for small genuine businesses like ours to remain viable. The bridge closure has also brought us many difficulties operationally.
Our last day of trading will be Sunday 27th April.
We want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your incredible support over the years.
A message in particular to our amazing staff who have worked so hard in roles that can be be very demanding at times.
Thank you again for being part of what has been quite a rocky journey from the beginning with covid virus immediately after we opened.
We hope to utilise the space for something completely different which we need to put to the drawing board.
This notice does not include the Retreat Bar.
Sorry guys for those of you that are late night eaters and for those that come to us for a weekly treat.
