Indie Füde - Belfast, N.Ireland
We are flying to visit friends in Prague, Czechia 🇨🇿 and last time they loved a few Irish cheeses we brought over to try. So this time get a proper selection from our favourite deli store in the town. It’s always nice to have a chat with someone who knows so much about local delicacies. Local I mean from all over the island.
Spent a few quids more but it’s worth every penny 💚

Bastion - Kinsale, Ireland 🇮🇪
We are back to Kinsale and this time we booked one of their finest. Bastion. Last time we came to Kinsale in the morning and couldn’t make it for the dinner but today is the day. Asked a few friends who already been and they all said you have to go. Here we are.
There’re two options for the tasting menu. We picked the earlier one at 5pm with 4 courses.
Welcomed by Helen we were seated next to the window to enjoy the sun. Glass of wine and we are ready to start our Discovery tasting menu journey.
Every plate was made to the top of perfection. Taste of each component was right to match each other. Sharp beef, delicate sea bass, flaky bread, wilderness of pigeon, sweetness of chocolate, delicious cheese, bold coffee at the end with pb truffles 💚
To come to enjoy Paul’s cooking was my early birthday present. This is what the high end gastronomy with human face should be. No pretend just be themselves and make many many people happy.
We going to talk about this dinner to everyone for a while as it was really fabulous. Thank you Paul and Helen for your time to make our day.

Bastion is most definitely on our “ The Best of…” ☘️

Da Mirco - Cork, Ireland 🇮🇪
It’s been a while since last time we went for Italian dinner. A few weeks maybe 🤔
I heard good things about Da Mirco in Cork and taught it would be a good idea to try out ourselves.
Walked in and felt home sweet home as Italian radio was on. Oldies for the teenagers 🤣 Nice.
Let the food do the talking. Start with Tagliere Da Mirco. Cured meats and cheeses. Next Asparagi bagna cauda e bottarga. Fresh seasonal green asparagus with bagna cáuda sauce. Classic and pretty good.
One primi piatti of Linguine al sugo nero di seppia. Squid ink sauce was incredible. Tasty dish but dangerous colour of black 😉. One secondi piatti Grilled hake with parsnip and almond cream and confit parsnip. Didn’t expect that combination of roots and nuts with hake would be so gooood. And the size of hake…😋 Both mains were pretty tasty and well done 👍
It wouldn’t be Italian dinner without coffee… little cups of the great stuff 💚
We liked it here. Food, service, atmosphere.. all well@done guys. If you do like Italian but a bit different way then Da Mirco is your place 👍

Goldierestaurant - Cork, Ireland 🇮🇪
As we visiting Co.Cork this weekend for us there’s one place we visit every time when in the town and it’s Goldie. Like that nose-to-tail philosophy as there’s no waist left. And must say that Aishling’s ideas and cooking is just the best.
Luckily we’ve got table on Saturday at 5pm. Busy street outside but nice quiet inside. At least for us at the table. Kitchen was busy and nice to watch the harmony of cooking and plating.
We’ve got a few things to start. Taiwanese fish nuggets and Wild garlic & seaweed potato crisps. Small plates of Pibil monk cheek sope and Saltfish brandade with asparagus. Nice tasty delicate starters to the show.
From the main we’ve had Monkfish with beetroot achar and cafe de Paris butter and John Dory with asparagus and chicken & miso butter. There’s only a few places around the island that you can get such a tasty seafood meals. All spot on. Freshness, taste, presentation.. 💚
And can’t forget the dessert. Panacotta with oat crumb and burnt honey. Wicklow blue cheese with fruit & seed loaf. Sweet and savory. Yummy 😋
As every time here it was beautiful evening with fantastic atmosphere and delicious food with perfect service. Thanks to all from Goldie. Can’t wait for next time.

Good Day Deli - Cork, Ireland 🇮🇪
There’s one proven way how to start your day. To have a good breakfast. Recently I’ve heard about one nice place in the city of Cork and as we are here it’s the chance to give it a try.
Enter through the museum entrance walk upstairs and then passed by graveyard and here we are. Good Day Deli. In the middle of the park that’s placed in the courtyard. Beautiful location and the great view from the large windows.
Cappuccino served in nice handmade mugs was pretty good. And from the morning menu we ordered Vibrant vegan trio. Sourdough toast with trio of toppings. Cashew cheese, parsley pesto, beetroot hummus. All tasty but cashew cheese was great. Loved it. And then Seasonal Irish asparagus with poached egg and hollandaise sauce on sourdough toast. Nice tasty and pretty.
From the cake cabinet we had to try Lamington cake 🇦🇺.
Good food and fantastic service. Lovely place. Definitely recommended to everyone. Breakfast, brunch, lunch.. can’t wait to next visit to try more from the lunch menu
Thanx and see ya guys 💚

Thanks to for the tip

Capparelli at the Mill - Dundonald, N.Ireland
Easter Sunday lunch in Mediterranean inspired restaurant that opened just a few months ago and already making headlines all around the island of Ireland. If you are good then the word spread fast. And we wanna help it too.
Today there’s four of us to enjoy Sunday lunch that means more food to taste 😉
Let’s start from the top of the menu. Snacks are Hummus, Kale tzatziki, Muhammara. Small plates of Portavogie prawns and Toonsbridge halloumi. All the starters were very nice & tasty, flavourful and gone in 60 seconds. That tasty 🤤
From the main we’ve got Roast pork belly with roasted veggies, Butternut squash shawarma with spiced lentils, Pan roast hake with Pomme Anne, Casarecce with lentil bolognaise. Well done job. I tasted everything and it’s so so good. Nicely presented and well seasoned to bring up the basic flavours.
To finish it all we need something sweet. Lemon Basque cheesecake, Vanilla Panna cotta, Cheese plate.
After today I understand to all that buzz about Capparelli. Nicely renovated old building with a modern interior design. Big windows all around the dining room and glass roof that brings in the natural sunlight. Busy service keeps it worm and professional. Food just perfect. That’s what I call Sunday lunch. No more needs to be said. Time to visit and try yourself 💚
Thanx guys. Job well done.

Uno Mas - Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪
We’ve been to Dublin many times and all friends were always asking if we finally went to Uno Mas. This time we can say yes. And it was just fantastic.
Our usual booking time at 5 pm to enjoy the quiet before the storm. Just a two of us for couple of minutes chatting with Cian about food and wine. He’s wine advice was spot on.
And food wise I’d say you can’t go wrong with anything from the menu.
We started with Squid à la plancha and Beetroot, blue cheese, pear salad. Oh my.. nice fresh squid grilled just right. Not overcooked and not undercooked neither. Served simple with oil and lightly seasoned. Salad was classic any super tasty.
Mains were Halibut served with cima di rapa and pink fir. Barnsley chop with chickpea and salsa verde. Plating beauty and heavenly tasty. Medium cooked lamb was tender and flavoursome. Halibut paired with nutty greens. Yum 😋
As a side we shared Charred cabbage with migas and mustard dressing and Fried maris piper. Olives and pickles as a small snack.
We rarely get a dessert but here we both ordered one each. Flan de queso and Cheese plate. Soft, hard and blue cheese selection. All tasty.
Overall it was a great evening with super tasty food, nice wine in a pretty buzzing atmosphere where we were looked after very well 💚💚
Definitely be back for more and recommend to anyone to visit Uno Mas. Thanx guys 👍
