Well with a year of not trading I took the time to go to Phu Quốc island ( Vietnam )where we get our pepper from. We roast it daily when we do trade. Many say Phu Quốc pepper is the best pepper in the world.

Squid INC – Halls Dorset Smokery are looking for staff for the summer of 2020. The season starts in May and runs for most of the weeks through to the beginning of September. You must be hard working, enjoy long hours and open to a fun working environment. You would be joining a team of existing and new staff and go to places like Glastonbury, The Great Escape, Boomtown, 2000 Trees as well as some nice small events. Sustainability. Our chips are made from Organic British Spuds. But when starting this venture the meat had to be sustainable too.
So how many young can a squid have? This is the result Google gave me.
Squid do not have babies, they lay eggs attached to seaweed. They may lay up to 70,000 eggs!

That ticks my box for sustainable.

A bit about Pepper, its not just pepper!!

At Squid INC each portion of Squid will be seasoned with Sea salt and Vietnamese Phu Quoc pepper. Phu Quoc pepper is considered by many to be the best in the world and will be toasted each day at the festival to give a warm and sweet taste to the seasoning.

Phu Quoc is an Island tot he South of Vietnam
