Celebrating my first ever 5⭐️ Google review 🥹

You all LOVED yesterday’s reel of this cake, so I had to share my customer’s gorgeous photo from the day - and the loveliest review on slide 2! 🩷

I’m still completely obsessed with those hand-drawn buttercream motifs. I genuinely can’t wait to recreate this design idea again!

Dainty piped cherries, delicate flowers, tiny bows and little butterflies, all brought together in the prettiest dreamy vintage Lambeth style 🍒🌼🎀🦋

The brief was whimsical, pastel and pretty, with a touch of colour - keeping the overall look soft, delicate and elegant.

Using line piping as a drawing technique is such a clever way of adding details and character without the need for toppers and additional materials. There are so many ways to use buttercream or ganache to create illustrations, textures, patterns and tiny motifs - and playing around with scale and colour is a great way to bring each idea to life in its own way ✨

Picture this style reimagined in a completely different colour palette, or with motifs inspired by yours or your special someone's favourite things… 🌈🌸⭐️🐚🪻 From flowers and fruit, to animals, cars, hobbies or little details that hold special meaning, the options are endless...

This is exactly why I adore making bespoke celebration cakes - taking those personal little touches, colours and ideas and turning them into something truly special, made just for you 💗

Some exciting bakes left the kitchen this month... including a gorgeous vintage classic Wedding cake that I can't wait to share more about 💒🥹

A little sprinkle of fairy princess magic 🧚🏻‍♀️🌷🦋🍄..for our precious little niece 🩷

Featuring an enchanting toadstool mushroom house cake, lovingly decorated with delicate buttercream roses, whimsical fairy toppers, fluttering butterflies, and finished with a few silky ganache layers... joined by a little butterfly cake to add to the cute collection 🦋

Each section held its own flavour - classic vanilla and raspberry, rich chocolate, and indulgent pistacchio.

This was such a pleasure to create and bring to life 🫶 My favourite part was creating the mushroom rooftop where I could get a little more expressive with texture 🍄

There's something truly special in creating kiddies cakes... my inner child gets so excited 🤭✨️
