Well no one told me how stressful building a commercial kitchen from scratch would be. Few problems along the way but the end is in sight 😍 we are allowed to legally trade from the 28th May

But I think we can squeeze one last free cook up out in the new kitchen before that.

Kitchen work starts this week 😎🔥. I’ve been told a week to completion but let’s say 2. Food truck will be wrapped by then..

Then it’s just a case of getting the council out to do the hygiene rating and make sure we are completely legal to trade to the public 💪

Then it’s all systems go!

Thai cook up this weekend for free limited portions menu to drop this evening….

And we will do Mexican night the following week.

Till the kitchen is up and running im just gonna keep on giving away good food for reviews

The boss is actually a baker too so there will be sweet treats avabliable when we are all signed off with the council ❤️❤️

Sorry to anyone who missed out yesterday.

I messaged everyone when I was free in the morning with time slots. If I didn’t hear back in a couple of hours I gave those slots to other people. Remember this was all free….

Replying to me at 5.30 when I’m clearly going to be busy with service starting at 6… slots would of all been gone. And then writing statuses because I didn’t reply when I was cooking! I had to bake a birthday cake after doing 40 takeaways and wrap presents too

I did all this the night before my daughters birthday. I can’t please everyone we did double the amount we said. For free

Obvs when it’s a food truck you turn up there won’t be any messaging…..

Anyway I’m gonna do Thai this weekend. Same applies. Keep a eye out

Lesson to myself. Never use a different seasoning to the one you have always used the day before cooking for 40. Almost flopped the brown stew as it was way to salty meaning I had to remove all the good juice too. Everyone said it was good but it wasn’t mine I wasn’t happy 🤣

Thanks to everyone who came for the first cook up. Few things to improve on for the next one but glad everyone had good feedback ❤️
