A bit of advise for those collecting their cakes:-

🚗 Crank the air con up. You need that car as cold as possible.

🚗 Have the footwell clear as this is the best place to keep the cake flat and out the sun.
🚗 Hold the box by the bottom, never the sides. My cakes are buttercream and although I’ll firm them up in the fridge, you might squish the sides or drips if you hold from the sides.

🚗 Get it straight to a fridge and keep it cold until you need it. No stopping at the shops on the way home!
