The nights are drawing in and the kids are back at school, but we're keeping our fingers crossed for a bit of an Indian summer before autumn properly sets in! Either way, the van's still out and about — so come find us, rain or shine.

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR

🌊 Its Bideford Water Festival tomorrow! 🚣

The Quay is going full Steampunk this year — brass, goggles, gears and some seriously creative costumes along the River Torridge. Pig & Olive will be there all day, serving up stone baked pizza while the chaos unfolds.

Not been before? Nothing says "sound engineering" quite like a fleet of cardboard boats built by amateurs, entered into an actual race, on actual water. We give it about thirty seconds before someone's paddling with their hands. We'll be cheering from the quay.

Alongside the boats: a fancy dress parade, water displays, live music, and market stalls all along the front.

You don't need to be a steampunk expert — just bring your imagination and your appetite.

What a summer it's been! Feeling a little emosh that it's over (see rain forecast).

From the van queues on balmy evenings to the buzz at Westward Ho!, Barnstaple and the van. We've loved every minute of it — and we couldn't have done it without you.

A huge thank you to our incredible customers. Some of our favourite moments this summer came from your kind words.

Then: a stone-baked pizza oven, a van, and a big idea — Simon and Rachel taking their pizzas out to the villages of North Devon, one stop at a time.

Now: that same van is still out every week, but it's grown alongside a delivery service and our very own restaurant in Westward Ho! — plus a lot of regulars who've become family along the way.

Same Neapolitan soul. Same North Devon heart. Just a lot more pizza served since day one.
