Popped down to the Family Fun Day at Alkincoates Park today and what a great afternoon.

Huge well done to everyone who put it on as even with a bit of rain, it didn’t put anyone off and looked like everyone still had a proper good time.

It's also not every day you see a stuntman doing jumps on a motorbike blindfolded.

Stuff like this is what it’s all about — good people, local events, and a real community feel. Glad we came along.

We are looking forward to a proper introduction, but we have an official press release due out soon so watch this space for details.

What we can say is we’ve got strong family ties to the local area and we’re really looking forward to getting to know everyone and becoming a proper part of the community.

Alongside The Anchor Inn, Salterforth, we currently operate a number of other family-run businesses, including The Tarbet and Groomingdales Dog Salon & Spa, so we’re no strangers to hard work and building places people enjoy coming back to.

We’ll be sharing updates over the coming weeks as we get everything in place, and we can’t wait to welcome you in, say hello, and start this next chapter together.

Agreement in place. ✍️✅

The Anchor Inn, Salterforth is officially happening — wheels are in motion and the renovation plans are underway.

Now the hard work begins, bringing this canal-side pub back to life, with great drinks, great food, and a place the community (and anyone passing on the canal) can be proud of.🍻🍽️⚓

I’ll share updates as we go. For now, it’s real, and it’s happening.📣
