On Friday, Lombok Night arrives at Bali Satay House as part of our Island Nights series.

For one evening, we’ll be celebrating the food, culture and spirit of Lombok with a menu inspired by the island, live entertainment and a restaurant full of people looking to experience something a little different.

These events have quickly become some of our favourite nights of the year. Good food, a full restaurant and an atmosphere that’s difficult to recreate on a normal evening.

Over the past year, our Island Nights have taken us through different parts of Indonesia, each one bringing its own flavours, traditions and atmosphere to the table.

Next, we’re heading to Lombok.

Join us on Friday 19th June for an evening inspired by the island’s food and culture, with a special regional menu, live music, traditional performances and a few surprises throughout the night.

These evenings have always been about more than just the food, and we’re looking forward to sharing another one with you.

We were back in Acton for part two of Eid in the Park over weekend.

The rain definitely had other plans on day one but thankfully day two felt like a completely different event 🌧️😁

From cooking satay and nasi goreng to meeting new faces and catching up with familiar ones, it was a lovely weekend all round.

Thank you to the organisers for inviting us back and to everyone who stopped by for some Indonesian food and a chat 💚

These community events are always a highlight for us. Especially because it gives us a chance to get out of the restaurant, meet new faces and let our chefs see firsthand the people enjoying the food they spend so much time preparing..

This wasn’t just a regular Sunday lunch.

It was their annual family gathering.
One of those afternoons that means a little more because everyone is finally together 💚

Around 30 guests joined us at Bali Satay House, with welcome drinks ready as they arrived and dishes chosen ahead of time so the day could feel calm from the start.

Everyone had time to talk, settle in, sit down together and share food around the table without the afternoon feeling rushed at all

That’s what makes family gatherings special.

Not just the food but the time, the conversations and the people around the table.
