Chicken breast, smoked Ayrshire streaky bacon, mayo, pickled local cucumber and Romaine lettuce with caesar dressing 😋

What a brilliant experience it was to be part of the HIE Impact Women Programme! ❤️

3 months of learning, growing and making lasting memories..

Yesterday I stood up in front of a crowd of 50 and presented my business to them, public speaking I have learnt is not my thing but I did it 🤣

So lucky that it was held in Nairn, one of my favourite places in Scotland! Weather has been 👌🌞

I am traveling to Nairn today to reconnect with this brilliant group of women 👏

Highlands and Islands Enterprise Impact Women is a programme I was lucky enough to have been selected for in May. Since then I have been working with a mentor, online webinars and learning from the other women.

It's been an eye opening experience and I am very grateful to have been a part of it. Over the next few days we will share our business ideas at the closing residential.

BBQ Chickpeas, apple and fennel slaw with a tangy creme fraiche dressing and pickled local brambles (picked by my mum!) 🤩

We are a friendly team who work hard. The pace is fast and we hold ourselves to a high standard when it comes to looking after our customers and the standard of product that we create.

It's a varied job, and a great one for someone who likes to keep busy. One moment you'll be serving customers and taking payments, the next you'll be back helping with food preparation, baking, and creating our artisan bakes. There's room to bring your own menu ideas too. Alongside that, everyone pitches in to keep the shop clean and tidy, handle general cleaning and basic caretaking, and follow our food safety and hygiene procedures.
