Our gluten-free toastie option, filled with mozzarella and pesto and toasted until golden.

🍓 Greek Yoghurt, Granola & Berries
Creamy Greek yoghurt layered with granola and fresh berries, finished with dark chocolate shavings and served — because we’re The Cosy Chapter — in a martini glass! 🍸✨

Join the team at The Cosy Chapter

We’re looking for another experienced person to join our team!

You must be 18+ with previous experience in either:

☕ Barista / coffee
OR
🍸 Bar work & cocktails

Experience in both isn’t necessary — training will be provided in the other area.

We have various shifts available, but applicants must be flexible and able to take their turn working evenings and weekends.

We’d particularly love to hear from someone who can also help us with holiday cover over the next 4 weeks.

Interviews are taking place this week where possible, so please get in touch soon.

We’ve decided that our lovely book room deserves a little chapter of its own!

We’re creating a separate page for The Quiet Chapter — our quieter side of The Cosy Chapter, dedicated to everything happening in our book room. 📖

This will be the place to keep up with book events, quiet reading sessions, groups, special evenings and everything else we have planned for the space.

The Quiet Chapter will work alongside The Cosy Chapter, so we’ll still share and tag everything between the two — but having its own page means you’ll be able to easily see exactly what’s coming up in the book room without it getting lost amongst all the food, cocktails, bookings and general Cosy Chapter goings-on! ☕️🍷

These three lovely lads joined us today, made their way through our cocktails and decided they fancied a little something extra…

So naturally, chilled tequila shots all round! 🥃😂

Here they are enjoying a great evening at The Cosy Chapter — exactly what we wanted this place to be about: good drinks, good company and great times. ❤️

Thanks for spending your evening with us, lads… although we’re not sure how you’ll be feeling about that tequila tomorrow morning! 😂

Meanwhile, our staff have been busy expanding our mocktail menu too! 🍹 Tonight’s creation was a Virgin Espresso Martini ☕️ — all the espresso martini vibes, without the alcohol!

ONE WEEK OPEN! 🥂📚❤️

What a week it’s been! A huge thank you to my amazing staff who have worked so hard, and to every customer who has walked through our doors, supported us, been patient with us and cheered us on.

But most of all, thank you to my family. ❤️ For holding everything together behind the scenes, supporting this crazy dream and understanding why I’ve barely been able to be with you these past couple of weeks. I couldn’t do any of this without you.

One week down… a few bumps, lots learned, and so much still to come.

Here’s to the next chapter. 📖🥂

We’re so excited to finally share The Cosy Chapter food menu with you! ❤️

We’ve put together a menu made for exactly the kind of place we want The Cosy Chapter to be — somewhere you can pop in for a little something, settle down with a good book, meet friends for food and wine, or stay a while and make an evening of it.

✨ Imagine your evenings at The Cosy Chapter… 📚🍷

We absolutely had to share this beautiful image created by a very talented local photographer David Kipling ❤️

This captures exactly what we dreamed The Cosy Chapter could become — warm lights, good company, a glass of wine on the table and that feeling that there’s absolutely no need to rush home.

By day, come in for coffee, cake and a browse through the books. ☕📖
As the day turns into evening, settle in for wine, cocktails and something to eat. 🍷🍸

We wanted to create somewhere a little different for Atherstone. Somewhere you can meet a friend, have a date night, catch up over a bottle of wine, sit with a book on your own, or simply watch the world go by.

And seeing our little shop imagined like this makes it all feel very real. 🥹

✨ It’s the little details that make a place feel special… ✨

The final touches have been going into The Cosy Chapter, and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s all coming together. 🌸📚☕

A huge thank you to my wonderful husband Nick Stokes who has spent so much time choosing and arranging all of the flowers and olive trees to make the outside of our little bookshop as welcoming as the inside. ❤️

What started as an empty building has become something we are incredibly proud of, and we genuinely can’t wait to open our doors and welcome you all in.

Whether you’re popping in for your morning coffee, a glass of wine after work, or simply to lose yourself in a good book, we hope The Cosy Chapter feels like a place you’ll want to come back to again and again.

We’re so close now… and we honestly can’t wait to share it with you.
