When you buy one of our family-sized pies, we believe it should be a proper pie, not just a tin full of ingredients with a pastry lid.

That's why every one of our family pies is fully encased in our signature all butter pastry, no lard, no margarine, Just 100% butter because great fillings deserve a pastry that's just as good.

We might cost a little more than some others, but quality has never been the cheapest option. We'd rather make fewer pies the right way than cut corners to make more. That's the standard we've always believed in, and it's the standard we'll always stick to.

Seeing the whole Terry Bakes, saga unfold has been a real eye-opener, but also quite worrying.
I remember last year when we were just finding our feet and getting our name out there. We suddenly went a little viral overnight and, before we knew it we had a 3 month waiting list for pies! It became crazy busy and really frustrating, which is exactly why we decided to nip it in the bud before it got completely out of hand.

One thing we never did and never will do, is take payment upfront. I understand why some small businesses do it, but Terry Bakes is a stark reminder of the risks involved. If anyone does choose to pay us early (and a few of you do) that money is protected in our business account, and should anything ever go wrong, you would be guaranteed a refund.
But perhaps the most worrying part of this whole situation is the sheer amount of trolling he endured, both during his baking career and now. Grown adults thinking it's acceptable to constantly berate another human being until they reach breaking point is genuinely uncomfortable to watch.

One lesson I've always tried to instil in my children is simple, never start a fight, be kind and courteous, and look out for others.
What Terry has done is without question 100% unacceptable and this is by no means defending his actions but behind the business, the social media posts and the mistakes, there is still a human being.

The humble Chicken & Mushroom pie doesn't get the love it deserves. Ever bitten into one only to find a puddle of sauce and a mushroom that's clearly called in sick? Just because it tastes of mushrooms doesn't mean you can leave the little fungi out!

At Pie Central, we do things properly. We start with a rich, creamy roux, then pack it with shiitake mushrooms for that deep, meaty texture before adding generous chunks of chicken. Every bite tastes exactly how a Chicken & Mushroom pie should.

🥧 THE PRESSURE GOT TOO MUCH SO WE’VE FINALLY CAVED IN 🥧

For months we’ve been asked the same question
“Do you do FAMILY SIZE PIES?”

Well after finally giving in to the pressure, sending out a few tester pies for birthday parties and feeding some unsuspecting family members, we can officially announce

We now do family size pies.

The feedback?
Absolutely bloody brilliant! 😍

So we’re very happy to say that our family size pies are now officially available to order.

They come fully cooked and ready for your convenience, so all you need to do is pop them in the oven, reheat and prepare yourself for the inevitable arguments over who gets the biggest slice.
Each pie will comfortably serve 6 generous portions, or can be stretched to 8 portions if you’re being sensible.
Or if you’re anything like me
“6 portions?”
Nah.
One massive portion will do nicely.

🥩 Minced Beef & Onion — £17
🧀 Deluxe Cheese & Onion — £18

Perfect for birthday parties, family gatherings or even an office party, feeding a hungry crowd, or simply putting an absolutely enormous pie in the middle of the dinner table and watching everyone suddenly become very interested in portion control. 😂
They also make a pretty spectacular table centrepiece for a family meal, although we can't guarantee it'll remain intact for long.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: We are already fully booked for this week (Monday 10th – Friday 14th August).
But family size pies are now available to order for upcoming dates. We still have very limited delivery and collection slots available for next week.

Reports are coming in from Pie HQ that a young man's birthday wish has left his parents in hysterical laughter

The teenager was asked to write a list for his upcoming birthday, they expected latest trainers, games, or perhaps a new bike.
Instead witnesses say he wrote......
"Kebab pie for tea"

Experts are calling it an unprecedented level of pie obsession, while family members remain in fits of laughter, although the parents have admitted they're "equal parts proud and slightly worried at his obsession"

A spokesperson for For Your Pies Only said, "We've always believed our pies were addictive we just didn't expect our own son to ask for one on his list of birthday presents"
