Sharing on behalf of another small business owner based in Stalybridge, Facebook can be an absolute ar*!hole when it comes to small businesses. The majority of the time its not even anything we have done, its robots/AI deciding to put us on a naughty step for no reason. Anyway she's a little, shall we say "sweary" so if your easily offended then I her page is not for you, but her products are amazing, hilarious and reasonably priced. And best of all she's local so your supporting small local businesses.

Honestly, this is absolutely gutting.

I’ve put so much time, effort and hard work into growing this page and building this community, so seeing my page now sitting at “Page is at risk” when I genuinely haven’t done anything wrong is incredibly disheartening.

And the worst part is that it’s now affecting my actual business.

My reach and visibility have dropped massively, which means fewer people are seeing my products, fewer orders are coming in and ultimately it’s having a direct impact on my income.

I’ve spoken to Meta and asked them for a timeframe on when this will be resolved.

Their answer?

They don’t know.

It could be a week.
It could be months.
It could apparently even be a year.

How am I supposed to run a small business when I have no idea how long my page is going to be restricted for?

I’ve spent years building this page, creating products, posting, interacting with you all and growing this community. To have all of that affected because Facebook has restricted my page despite me doing nothing wrong is honestly heartbreaking.

I’m not giving up, though.

So if you’re still seeing my posts, please like, comment, share or even just leave a random comment. It genuinely helps get my posts back in front of people.

And if you’ve ever bought from me, shared my posts, recommended me or supported my little business in any way — thank you. It means more than you probably realise.

Right now I just need Facebook to stop hiding me in the bloody corner and let me get back to doing what I actually do.

🌙 WHO’S A MIDNIGHT SNACKER? 🌙
You know who you are, sneaking downstairs at stupid o’clock, opening the fridge as quietly as humanly possible, and then denying all knowledge of where the last one went.
“Wasn’t me”
“I didn’t eat it”
“Must’ve been the dog”

Don’t worry you’re not alone. I do it frequently myself. Although, in my defence my dog is highly intelligent and has somehow mastered opening the fridge, operating the microwave and apparently reheating a pie without leaving a single crumb behind 👀

So if you find yourself standing in the kitchen at midnight with a suspiciously warm pie in your hand, Keep calm. Blame the dog.

Us Brits absolutely LOVE a good moan.
If something’s wrong, we’ll be first in the queue to tell you about it. But when something’s actually bloody good, we’re not always quite as quick to shout about it.

That’s why reviews like the one below genuinely mean so much to me.

Behind every pie is a lot of time, effort, love and probably more pastry than is medically advisable.
So knowing that something I’ve made has made someone happy and left a genuinely positive impression really does make me smile.

I make pies because I love what I do, but feedback like this reminds me exactly why I do it.
