Yesterday evening we opened as usual, however we were unfortunately met with the sad news that our regular customer and friend had passed away.

Dave will truely be missed at our pub, a familiar face to many. Sat up at the tall table near the bar, telling tales of the experiences he’d had in his life. Imparting his wisdom with generosity and good humour.

Our thoughts go out to Dave’s family and friends in this tough time. ❤️

How are we half-way through August already?
If it feels like it has flown past, don't worry, it has for us too!

BUT there is still plenty going on for the remainder of August:

- Acoustic Sunday with Liam & Sean, a crowd favourite.

- Our COMEDY FESTIVAL, we cannot wait for these 3 days packed full of comedy. The festival will also see appearances from some pulled porked cobs as well as GRAINSTORE BREWERY doing a tap takeover.

- Quiz night with quiz man Dan, our ever popular quiz is back. Reserve your table now.

- Open Mic Sunday - as if we haven't had enough music this month. Join in or just be a part of our friendly audience.
