Wow 12 months on …Mega ‘Project outside’ is a year late but now so close. We actually have pool liner onsite… days away from being completed, then the work on the terrace starts!

Start of 2017 and a new emphasis on pushing Chez Bely forward. 2 weeks in and we have commenced the new landing and the master bedroom door is being rebuilt.

Who would have thought, a project that is non garden or livestock related :-) Rainy day job....Andy's been inside! Where have the stairs and ceiling gone? Watch out for the progress updates, this area is to be completed by 1st December. New floor, windows, front door, stairs, walls done, underfloor heating in the hallway. It will transform Chez Bely....yipee

Happy Easter! We hope you are enjoying the long weekend. It's been busy times here. The sheep shed and new nursery pens got finished, just in time! Meet our new Easter arrival born today at 3.30pm! His sister just a few days older...so cute! Only Double bubble to go now..and we think she is having twins, she is huge

The wonderful summer of 2015 @ Chez Bely, is over. Many weekends at the beach, Bee's in the garden, baby Owl's safely back in their nest, a visit from Roger to see Stanley/Nelson & the girls, and the flumps grew hair!
Hattie has turned five and we find ourselves for the first time at the local skate park! Thank goodness the Beach theme cake turned out ok and was edible. Plus we now have lots of great ideas from our friends and family, who joined us for hot summer days and experienced Chez Bely for the 1st time.
All good things must come to an end, so with the girls reluctantly back to school, we find ourselves heading towards the end of Sept'15 and into Autumn.
With the turn of Autumn, we are now well and truly into yr. 2 of our renovation...what is the first project of Yr2 - Chicken Coop! Forget the leaking roof and insulation, the chicken's need moving from next to our bedroom, a year of Cockadoodledoo's at 5am is a year too much, so in a few days they'll have their own wheels!

• Happy Summer Holiday's..... Lot's has been happening over here at Chez Bely. The Spibey's came to visit, late July. We've currently got baby deers (twin fawns) and baby hedgehogs in the garden. Plus in early July we had 3 barn owls fly the nest. Renovation work is generally geared to outside working, now that the temporary kitchen is in the house..woop woop we have a kitchen in the house, major celebrations, no more running across the courtyard for tea! The girls have also started DIY, well sort of, helping finish off the pool area and playing in the wheelbarrow. Catch -up at the end of the month. Love Chez Bely xx
