What a weekend! She was a warm one and it's only going to get warmer.

Next Sunday (21st) here at The Old School Tea Room and La Vieille Ecole we are celebrating the fete de la musique. There will be a DJ on site from midday until late.

We don't have an alcohol license but you are welcome to BYO. Come and join us, even bring some tunes if you want the DJ to play anything specific. Our normal opening hours for the kitchen apply although we are looking to offer a chilli and rice meal around 1900 for a small fee to cover costs.

It's getting warmer towards the end of the week! We're already planning this weekends menu.

Our full summer menu of course will be available with our trio of tomatoes bruschetta, ploughman's platter to name but two.

Cakes this week include coffee & walnut, our signature lemon cake with lemon curd and a gluten free option too.

Scones, old fashioned lemonade and flapjacks finish off our offerings. La Vieille Ecole has new stock to view so why not make an outing of it.
