Where I grew up coffee has much more meaning than just a cup of coffee. It takes a respectable space, time and a ceremony that brings people together. In Ethiopia coffee ceremony is actually part of family time. I learned how to craft coffee from my beloved mother, who was also a very picky c

offee drinker. The love I had for her lead me to learn and master the art of coffee, without being allowed to drink it, because I was a little girl. I learned how to select the finest green coffee beans, roast them evenly in a hand held traditional roaster ( just like the one in my logo), grind and brew them to perfection. So I can have a quality time with my mother, because the whole ceremony takes about 2 hours. My mission

Coffee is not just a black caffeinated drink that you put flavours to drink it or to like it. All coffees have distinct flavour and aroma of their own, some tastes fruity, some tastes like cocoa or chocolate, some are citrusy, some tastes floral or spicy……the flavour and aroma of coffees differs based on the elevations, areas and climates of the region. If you haven’t experienced all these in your morning cup, maybe it’s because of the quality of the beans and the freshness of the roast. My mission is to get people to experience the distinct aroma and flavours of freshly roasted coffee. Arabica coffee beans;
Are originated from Ethiopia. All Ethiopian coffees are produced from an old and naturally indigenous heirloom varieties in Ethiopia. My coffees are carefully selected and top quality beans and roasted in small batches with love here in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Behind the name SUNDAY(ሰንበቱ)
Sunday is actually the name of my dear Mother, Who left us very early and lives in us.

Yirgacheffe coffee is known for its delicate sweet, citrus and floral notes. It’s often described as tea-like due to its clean, light body. Among the most revered of Ethiopian coffees it is the spicy and fragrant which shimmer with citrus tones and offer a very delicate body combined with a wonderful sweetness in the taste and floral notes in the aroma.�

* Attitude: 1770-2200m grown in southern Ethiopia

* Taste: flowery fragrance/ floral
* Cup: -Fine acidity and rich body

Sidamo coffee is known for its rich body, that is very complex along with a bright and vibrant aftertaste . As all Ethiopian coffees are ancient and indigenes coffee trees, that are deeply rooted in the regions,
Sidamo grow more slowly and have more time to absorb nutrients and develop more robust flavours.�
* Attitude: 1550-2200M
* Grown in the Sidamo region south of Ethiopia
* Arabica varieties: - Heirloom Ethiopian Varieties
* Taste: spicy, berry, flowery, wine
* Cup: -Fine acidity and good body

Nekempt is known for its large bean size, and the flavor can have a pronounced perfume-like aftertaste and rich chocolatey undertones with a bold, nutty finish.

* Attitude: -1700-2200 M above sea level
* Taste: mild fruity
* Cup: -good acidity & body
It’s also often called gourmet single.
