☀️ Tomorrow evening is the first time we've been able to observe a Solar Eclipse in Western Europe since 1999, and here in Torre de la Horadada we'll see it at 98.4% coverage.
Both at The Haven and The Pavilion we have a great spot for you to sit back and enjoy the show. From the terrace at The Haven the sun is perfectly visible at that time over the roofs to the west. At The Pavilion you will have a great view from our beer garden area.
⚠️ If you're going to stare at the sun for a prolonged period you must wear specialised eye protection. To just take a look up from time to time, the sun is no more dangerous during an eclipse than any other day.

🎱 A reminder, if you're currently in Torre and interested in joining one of our pool teams this coming season, join us today at The Pavilion at 6. Over the month of August it will just be an informal get-together each Tuesday for a few games of pool and a bit of chat, to get an idea of levels of ability, etc.

We have 4 teams in total, between The Haven and The Pavilion, so there's a team for every ability.

⚠️ WE ARE HIRING !
This isn't just about us filling a gap - it's about us really improving our team. We are looking for people who feel the same - not wanting just another job, but something that they can really get involved with.
You might feel you are not being fully appreciated where you work currently, or perhaps not being given the opportunity to do more. It could be you have a lot of experience or maybe you're still fairly new to the sector but feel you're already ready for more.
We're currently looking to take on 2 new members of staff, for an immediate start, or to start the 1st September.
Candidates must have a good level of English and at least some Spanish is preferred. They must have all their papers to work here legally.
We can offer a lot of flexibility in terms of timetable and financially, we are always happy to reward those who put the effort in.

🎱 We're starting to organise our teams for the next season of Orihuela Costa Pool. We have 4 teams in total, between The Haven and The Pavilion, so there's a team for every ability.
Starting next Tuesday, we will be holding a welcome / practice session each week at The Pavilion - Tuesdays from 6pm, with a free table, for anyone who's thinking of playing with us next season.
If you're interested in perhaps joining one of our teams, simply come along on Tuesday for a bit of pool and a chat.
