Please give and share: I am feeling a bit bad that I am not in Greenville at the moment. I have always held a special place in my heart for Veterans and Service Industry people. At the moment we have several special people experiencing real hardships and need some help. So this week and next week I hope you will reach out and offer help to these people.
A while back dear Alexandra Damaris Doby, a single mother, was cooking and damn near burnt her house to the ground. She received 2nd and 3rd-degree burns and was flown to Augusta burn center. I think that bill alone was over $70,000. I have no doubt that many of her MEDICAL bills will be reduced but she will need some money to help her and her son live day to day. A friend started a gofundme for her so people can give her help. If we still had a house in Greenville I think Olga and I would have moved her and her son into our house until she got back on her feet. Yes, we like her that much. She is one of the few people that I think we would do that for. She has had skin grafts from cadavers, her injuries are not trivial. I think she has been housed but it will be several months before she will be able to work again as a bartender or whatever job she can find. Sometimes I wish I still had those 5k Facebook contacts to spread the word. PLEASE give anything you can and share as often as possible. Next week I want to share with you about another friend who is struggling with a life-altering injury to his son.
