The kettle's on, the fryers are warming up and the kitchen is ready for another day of serving up proper homemade British & Irish favourites right here in the heart of Corralejo 🇬🇧🇮🇪

Whether you're starting the day with one of our famous breakfasts 🍳, calling in for lunch with friends 🍽️ or fancy treating yourself to some proper comfort food, we've got something for everyone.

From homemade cottage pie, lasagne, chilli and curries… to sausage & mash, pies, fish & chips with proper hand-cut chippy chips, wraps, jacket potatoes and plenty more, it's all cooked fresh with quality ingredients and a lot of love ❤️

We Are Back Open Tomorrow From 9am! 🍒☀️

Well... our two days off have absolutely flown by! 😅

The team have had a chance to recharge, enjoy a little bit of the sunshine and now we're ready to get back to doing what we love... serving up proper homemade British & Irish favourites right here in the heart of Corralejo 🇬🇧🇮🇪

Christmas Dinner At The Cherry Tree – IT’S ON! 🎄🍒🎅

We know, we know… it’s only halfway through summer, the sun is blazing and most of us are walking around in shorts and flip-flops 😂☀️

But you lot keep asking us about CHRISTMAS! 🎄

We’ve received loads of messages over the last few weeks asking the same question…

“Are you doing Christmas Dinner this year?”

Well, after some very, VERY long conversations behind the scenes, we’ve finally made the decision…

YES WE ARE! 🎅🍽️🎉

Christmas Dinner at The Cherry Tree is officially ON!

Now, some of you who have been around for a while might remember that a couple of years ago we publicly said we would NEVER do Christmas Dinner again 😂

Our first Christmas Dinner was pretty stressful. It was incredibly busy, there were some long waits and, if we’re being truthful, we had a few people who weren’t particularly nice about it either 😅

The vast majority of you were absolutely brilliant and understanding, but that small handful made a difficult day even harder and we came away from it saying… NEVER AGAIN! 😂

But here we are two years later, older, wiser and apparently ready to give it another go!

We must really love what we do… or we’re just slightly crazy.

Probably a bit of both! 🤣

But in all seriousness, a lot has changed in two years.

We’ve built an awesome team, we’ve gained a huge amount of experience, we’ve invested in the kitchen and equipment, and we genuinely feel like we’re now in a position to do Christmas Dinner again ❤️

And if we’re doing it, we’re doing it the Cherry Tree way…

A proper homemade Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings 🎄🍽️

We’re NOT quite ready to take bookings yet, so please don’t bombard the inbox just yet 😂

Today is simply about letting you know that IT’S HAPPENING so those of you planning Christmas in Corralejo can start making your plans.

When bookings go live, ALL bookings will be made through our website. We won’t be accepting Christmas bookings through Messenger.

We’ll release the full details, menu, prices, sittings and booking information as soon as everything is finalised.

Thank you to everyone who has messaged us asking about Christmas. We clearly got the hint eventually 😂❤️

Good Morning Corralejo & Beyond ☀️🍒

Greetings from a VERY hot Fuerteventura! 🥵☀️

Another brand new week is upon us and seriously… where is the time going?! It’ll be Christmas before we know it! 🎄😂

And talking of Christmas… we’ve actually got some news dropping later soon regarding Christmas at The Cherry Tree, so keep your eyes on the page 👀🎅

But first, what a week we’ve just had!

Without doubt one of our busiest weeks in a long time. You absolutely packed us out day after day, from breakfasts in the morning, through lunchtime and right into the chippy teas 🍳🍽️🍟

It was a tough one, especially working in this heat, but the team were absolutely amazing and somehow kept everything moving even when you lot really put us through our paces 😂

And the feedback… WOW ❤️

Clean plates everywhere, loads of lovely comments and so many people taking the time to tell us how much they enjoyed their food.

We’re not going to be the ones to say it ourselves… but the amount of you telling us we’re serving the best breakfast in town has definitely got us blushing 😂🍳

Thank you. Seriously.

A massive thank you also has to go to our social media crew 📲❤️

We know we’ve been a little quieter than normal on the socials recently, but that certainly hasn’t stopped you lot!

The local Facebook groups have been absolutely bombarded with recommendations and shout-outs for The Cherry Tree, and we cannot tell you how much that helps us.

We’ve genuinely lost count of how many new customers have walked through the door and told us, “We kept seeing you recommended on Facebook, so we had to come and try it.”

That’s because of YOU! 🙌

Every recommendation, tag, comment and share puts us in front of someone new, and we appreciate it massively.

We promise we’ll get ourselves back on track with the socials very soon and bring you plenty more Cherry Tree goodness 😏🍒

As for this week, it’s more of the same.

We are CLOSED Monday & Tuesday as normal while the team get a couple of well-earned days to recover, and then we’re back open Wednesday from 9am ready to feed you hungry bunch all over again! 😂🍳

We Are Closed Monday & Tuesday 🍒

Just a little reminder folks that we’re currently closed on Monday and Tuesday while we continue working away behind the scenes and give the team a well-earned couple of days to recharge.

We’ll be back open on Wednesday from 9am, ready to serve up all your Cherry Tree favourites once again.

From hearty breakfasts 🍳 to homemade pub grub classics 🍽️, proper fish & chips 🍟, freshly baked cakes 🍰 and all the homemade treats Chef Gavin has been creating, there’ll be plenty waiting for you.

It won’t be long before we’re back open seven days a week, and we’re getting closer every week. We just want to make sure everything is exactly how we want it before we make the switch.

Thank you once again for all your incredible support, patience and kind words. Seeing so many of you coming back week after week means the world to us ❤️
