This week at The Cherry Tree 🍒☀️
Greetings from paradise, folks.
And honestly, the last week or so really has felt like paradise here in Corralejo.
The weather has been hot, hot, hot, that is for sure, but it definitely did not stop you lovely lot from coming down to see us. If anything, the sunshine must have made everyone even hungrier because we were rushed off our feet all week long. 😂☀️
A massive thank you to everyone who came down last week.
We had loads of new faces, plenty of our regular locals, holidaymakers finding us for the first time, and lots of returning customers coming back to see us again, which is always lovely.
Whether you joined us for breakfast, popped in for cake, came down for lunch, grabbed fish and chips, or just called in for a drink and a bit of Cherry Tree comfort, thank you so much for making us part of your week. 🍳🍰🐟🍟
It was a busy one, a hot one, and definitely a tiring one for the team, so before we go again, we are having our usual couple of days rest.
Monday and Tuesday we are closed, giving the team a chance to cool down, recharge, deep clean, prep, and get ready for another busy week ahead.
They have worked so hard in this heat, and they definitely deserve a couple of days to catch their breath before we open the doors again on Wednesday. ❤️
This week, we will be open from 9am until 6pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Then on Friday, we will be open until 7pm for Chippy Friday, serving up the most authentic chippy night in town with proper chippy chips, golden cod, battered sausage, curry sauce, mushy peas, gravy and all the good stuff that makes Friday feel like Friday. 🐟🍟
Just a little update on Sunday roasts.
We are still not doing Sunday roasts at the moment.
With staff holidays, the insane heat, and a few other bits we have going on behind the scenes, we just do not have the time or the team available to do them properly right now.
We are really sorry because every week we have lots of you trying to book in, and we know how much you love them.
They will be back soon enough, we promise, but when we bring them back, we want to make sure they are done properly, the Cherry Tree way. 🍒
Apart from that, it is business as usual.
Amazing breakfasts, proper comfort food, unreal sweets and treats, homemade cakes, sandwiches, lite bites, fish and chips, Chippy Friday, and all-round good vibes from the team.
We cannot wait to see you all from Wednesday at The Cherry Tree.
