We are a cycling feed-zone, sometimes cafe, sometimes shop, located in the small scenic village of Caimari-the last stop before the mighty Tramuntanas and the legendary Coll de Sa Batalla. We have a beautiful courtyard and specialise in healthy grub and original T-shirts,vintage gear etc.A must stop for any rider on the island.Although not exclusively, we have a strong focus on vegan and gluten free products

BEWARE: she likes salty legs 🐶. If you’ve come by Sa Ruta Verda in the mornings or around closing, you’ve likely already become aquatinted with our 1.5 year old border collie, Lyla! Lyla is a very good girl who takes her job watching passing cyclists and cars very seriously. If you see her while at the cafe, she loves a good scratch behind the ears and licking your salty legs! 😋

Hola everyone!! After one year - it’s about time we properly introduce ourselves!

We are Javier and Emma. Javi, a mechanical engineer from Sevilla and Emma, an art historian and yoga teacher from Alaska, met in France while guiding cycling tours with Backroads. Somehow our journey led us here - running a cycling café in Mallorca - learning the ins and outs of menu creation, cycling jersey design and everything in between.

This month marks one year since we took over Sa Ruta Verda!

What an exciting, challenging, and life-changing year it’s been - especially with a baby joining the adventure! We’ve poured our hearts into this place and have loved meeting so many of you along the way!
