Mazen Atalla is an Egyptian artist and animator whose work bridges traditional craftsmanship and contemporary storytelling. Growing up in Egypt, he was captivated by ancient Egyptain art from an early age. This project celebrates the timeless artistry of Egypt’s heritage, honoring the skill and spirit of its ancient makers.

Commissioned by , spent multiple visits to the Grand Egyptian Museum , creating a series of traditional drawings inspired by artifacts from the museum’s main galleries and grand staircase. Each piece was drawn entirely by hand using pen, ink, or graphite on paper. Through his meticulous linework, Mazen captured the precision, balance, and refined proportions that define ancient Egyptian art. These artworks now come to life across a curated range of products available at the GEM Gift Shop.
