The Taverna Toscana, the oldest Italian restaurant in Prague, was founded in 1991. It is located in one of the oldest houses in the historical centre on the Royal Way and about 50 metres away from the Old Town Square. The owner and chef from Tuscany are the best guarantee of high quality recognized throughout the years in the Taverna. The Taverna Toscana offers its services in the Renaissance and

Etruscan Hall with two different menus. The Etruscan Hall is a romantic gothic cellar with a capacity of about 150 seats and offers a wide range of traditional Italian dishes, mainly from Tuscany, and the real pizza. Every day focaccia, Tuscan bread, tagliolini, pappardelle, gnocchi etc. are prepared in our kitchen. In the winter season your evenings will be made even more pleasant by live music. For sport lovers we have a reserved area with a big screen for watching live broadcasts of the Italian Serie A – B, Champions League, Formula 1 etc. In the summer months we open the summer terraces with 80 seats situated in front of the restaurant where you can admire Prague in a quiet setting. In the Renaissance Hall with 50 comfortable seats on the upper floor, the most typical specialties of the Tuscan cuisine and meals based on fresh fish are on offer. In the winter season we also have a roast meat and boiled dish buffet. We can accommodate groups and we have a non-smoking room with 30 places. All the ingredients used in our dishes are carefully chosen and imported directly from Italy.
