Recently we’ve noticed quite a few people choosing our chocolate pairings for birthdays and anniversaries. We didn’t really plan them as celebration experiences — it just seems to have happened, and we like it.

Come while it’s still light, watch the evening change over the Caribbean, and choose a rum, w**e or mezcal & chocolate pairing.

Then don’t go anywhere. Have another cocktail, wander through the current art exhibition, and stay for dinner. Pairing guests receive 10% off dinner afterwards.

The concert is part of De la Tierra al Mar, our current exhibition bringing together 15 artists from Limón, Puerto Viejo and Talamanca, and helps raise funds for an illustrated book about the fauna, flora and fungi of Talamanca, supporting environmental education with Guardianes del Bosque.

This Wednesday, September 16 at 5:30 pm, Cacao Huasi welcomes Guápil with Aguas Eternas — a musical journey celebrating the cycle of water. 💧🎶
The concert is part of De la Tierra al Mar (From the Earth to the Sea), a temporary exhibition bringing together 15 artists from Limón, Puerto Viejo and Talamanca, with music, painting, batik and sculpture.
Entry is by voluntary contribution from ₡5,000 to ₡30,000, with funds supporting the creation of an illustrated book about the fauna, flora and fungi of Talamanca, sharing this knowledge with children and others in the community. 🌱

El concierto forma parte de De la Tierra al Mar, una exposición temporal que reúne a 15 artistas de Limón, Puerto Viejo y Talamanca, con música, pintura, batik y escultura.
La entrada es por contribución voluntaria de ₡5.000 a ₡30.000, y lo recaudado apoyará la creación de un libro ilustrado sobre la fauna, flora y funga de Talamanca, acercando este conocimiento a niñas, niños y personas de la comunidad. 🌱

Cosmic Cacao & Kirtan returns to Cacao Huasi this Saturday, September 5 at 10:30 am. We’ll begin by sharing cacao and some of her stories with Ancel, before Issa leads us into kirtan — mantras, voices and the hypnotic sound of the harmonium.
Come to sing, or simply enjoy the cacao, music, Caribbean sea view and the experience of being together. Last time ended with everyone singing and dancing in the sunshine — we’d love to share it with you again.
