A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for chefs in Costa Rica — ready for Thailand and a guaranteed job?
A major new project is opening in Huacas: Lotus & Lime, part of the Finca Escondia Racquet Club, located in Huacas, Guanacaste, neighboring Reserva Conchal. The restaurant is scheduled to open around April 15, 2026 in Huacas — and we’re recruiting three chefs for a rare opportunity:
• 15 days in Thailand: culinary school + hands-on training
• Authentic Thai training — real techniques, real flavors
• Guaranteed job at Lotus & Lime after the trip
Important (requirements):
• English is required
• Working permit in Costa Rica
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a chef
• Must be able to provide references
• Applicants must be able to relocate/stay in the Huacas/Conchal area and be available to work locally once selected (you must have — or be able to arrange — housing in the area)
Thailand travel requirement (for the Chef Challenge):
• You must be available to travel to Thailand for 15 days, departing from Costa Rica between March 13–20, 2026 (exact departure date will be confirmed shortly).

Selection process:
• Shortlisted applicants will be invited to one digital interview and one in-person interview
• After the interviews, we will select three chefs to travel to Thailand
Also important:
• You can apply for a chef position even if you cannot travel to Thailand — we are also hiring locally for the opening team in Huacas.
