Building communities, one table at a time.

The second chapter of Les Amis de L’Arôme brought together chefs, restaurateurs, entrepreneurs and friends who share a common passion for contemporary hospitality.

Hosted at L’Arôme in the Sky in collaboration with Ting Tang Champagne Bar, the evening unfolded around six courses, six Blanc de Blancs Champagnes, meaningful conversations and the skyline of Nanjing.

For Larome Group, hospitality goes beyond restaurants.

It is about creating spaces where people meet, exchange ideas and inspire one another.

This is only the beginning.

Les Amis de L’Arôme was created as a platform for culinary exchange, collaboration and shared hospitality standards.
Chapter One, Where the Sea Flowers, brought together different teams, cultures and working methods around one table.
Some knowledge is written through recipes, measurements and systems.
Some is passed through experience, repetition and direct transmission from chef to chef.
For Larome Group, this collaboration reflects a central part of hospitality ex*****on: building a common language between different people, different backgrounds and different ways of working.
Over two days, the teams tested, adjusted and refined together.
The menu was the outcome.
The process was the story.

L’Arôme in the Sky recently welcomed guests for an exclusive VIP Wine Pairing Dinner in collaboration with Domaine Franco Chinois and Chanshow Wines, celebrating some of China’s highest-rated wines alongside contemporary French cuisine.

Set above the skyline of Nanjing, each course was thoughtfully paired to reveal the character of every wine, creating a dialogue between terroir, craftsmanship and gastronomy.

More than a wine dinner, the evening brought together wine lovers, industry professionals and friends around one table—sharing stories, discoveries and a passion for exceptional hospitality.

At L’Arôme, we believe every pairing is an opportunity to connect people through food, wine and culture.

L’Arôme Nanjing Jinling Hotel recently welcomed guests for an exclusive wine pairing dinner in partnership with EMW Fine Wines, featuring a curated selection from Argentina’s renowned Susana Balbo Winery.

Across a multi-course French menu, each wine found its place at the table—creating a dialogue between terroir and cuisine, craftsmanship and hospitality.

On June 12, we welcomed guests to L’Arôme dans la forêt for an evening dedicated to the wines, heritage, and terroirs of M. Chapoutier.

Bringing together wine enthusiasts, gastronomes, and friends of L’Arôme, the dinner unfolded around a shared table where each course was thoughtfully paired with a selection from one of the Rhône Valley’s most iconic estates.

Beyond the pairings themselves, the evening was an opportunity to explore the philosophy behind biodynamic viticulture, single-vineyard expression, and the enduring relationship between wine and gastronomy.

More than a wine dinner, it was a gathering of conversations, discoveries, and memorable moments shared around the table.

From sea urchin soufflé and sweet corn velouté to new seasonal desserts, the menu continues to draw inspiration from the philosophy of the Five Elements, expressing nature and seasonality through the language of contemporary French gastronomy.

Each dish is guided by ingredient integrity, technical precision, and a pursuit of harmony, allowing nature, seasonality, and craftsmanship to shape a complete dining experience.

As the restaurant continues to grow and new projects take shape, we are expanding our team in Beijing.
