Shu & Joi’s dreamy elopement 🤍

We had the pleasure of creating a slab cake for Shu & Joi’s intimate wedding. The couple exchanged vows at Bergrestaurant Bussalp in Grindelwald, Switzerland, surrounded by breathtaking views of the mountains and glaciers.

It was such a beautiful celebration to be a part of.

Diese dreistöckige Hochzeitstorte haben wir für die Feier eines lieben Brautpaares mit einem von Grün und Natur inspirierten Konzept kreiert. Das Semi-Naked-Finish trifft auf einen sanften Ombré-Effekt, der von Weiss in ein dezentes Salbeigrün übergeht. 🌿

Part of our Basic Cake Collection, this design pairs smooth white buttercream with embossed metallic accent stripes, beautifully finished with flowers or fruit.

Choose your style: fresh seasonal flowers, fruits, or dried florals in soft natural tones. Flower colors can be customized to your palette, with shades like white, pastel yellow, dusty pink, burgundy, lilac, peach, or light blue. An all-white scrollwork wedding cake for a dreamy summer celebration. 🤍

Decorated with detailed scrollwork piping and deep red roses, this cake travelled from our shop in Suhr all the way to Flims, through the beautiful Swiss mountains.

This wedding cake travelled all the way to Maloja. 🏔️

About a month ago, we delivered this wedding cake from Suhr to Maloja, crossing one of Switzerland’s most breathtaking (and, from a cake delivery perspective, most challenging) mountain passes. The couple had travelled from abroad to celebrate their special day and chose a gluten-free wedding cake together with a selection of handcrafted macarons.

Their celebration took place at the beautiful Hotel Maloja Palace, a historic venue with stunning Art Nouveau architecture, intricate stucco details, and an enormous dining hall. The journey may have been long, but seeing this cake become part of such a special celebration made it all worthwhile.
